Watching my dad play Harpoon back on our 286. He'd spend entire days off and whole packs of cigarettes playing, think that must've been how I got the bug to game.

I remember when I was really little my uncle having an NES, playing Zelda I think. I wasn't allowed to play it cause he was afraid a little kid would break it or something. He handed me down that NES a couple years later when he got bored of it I guess. I think all I had was super mario. I remember our TV was up really high on top of this shelf so I had to look almost straight up to see anything on because of the length of the controller cords.

First games, Mario 1, duck hunt, tetris and gauntlet.

First PC game I've ever played was Memphis Belle on floppy disks.

First 2 pc games I owned were Warcraft II and tomb raider 1

Oh, I've played on such consoles. Far too much of my youth was spent in video arcades throughout the 80s.

My parents had a ton of educational style games on their computer I played a lot. I have no idea what they were... Then I started getting into RTS games. I'm pretty sure I beat quite a few missions of the Warcraft 2: Tide of Darkness before I knew how to read all that well.

Age of Empires 1 from a cereal box, any people from Australia or maybe NZ will probably remember when it came with nutri-grain back in 2002 I think.

After that Close Combat 5: Invasion Normandy, which was far too complicated for my 10 year old self, then Morrowind. I still play Morrowind today.

Atart 2600. First game...I really don't know. I have very fond memories of a lot of games on that thing. It was probably Combat...or one of the other early games the atari came with early on. I distinctly remember Combat, Super Breakout, Asteroids, Q*bert, Pitfall, Air-Sea Battle, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Pacman, Centipede, Space Invaders, Missile Command, Frogger, Maze Craze: A Game of Cops and Robbers, and Pole Position.

My mom still has it somewhere....

If I have quarters in my pocket and I see a Galaga machine I still throw money at it. Usually just a game or two.

I walked in on my parents wrapping up an NES just before Christmas. They told me Santa asked them to wrap it for him, but now he's going to want it back. I was quite devastated.

Still got it for Christmas though. Super Mario Brothers would be my first game.

For me it was Pong also. I thought it was kinda fun, but I didn't really "get it" till Atari, and my life was forever changed. I'm still sad I never got a ColecoVision though.. the graphics were just like the arcade.

One of my uncles gave my parents a computer in the early 90's, but I don't quite remember what it was. It had a password, but I don't think I ever told my parents that I figured out it was my uncle's name backwards. So what did I risk my life my to play while my parents were unaware? Some periodic table game where parts of the table would randomly be blank and you had to fill them in. It also had some sci-fi game I wish I could remember and a top down alien killing game that for years I could've sworn was named Xenophobe, but it must've been Alien Breed or something very close to it.

I can't remember what years/classes, but in school I distinctly remember playing Crystal Caves, Spear of Destiny, and A-Train.

Other than some Pong-playing machine called a 'Beneton' (or something similar? Very 70's looking brown machine with paddle controls) I think probably the Combat Cartridge or Star Wars on the Atari 2600. Also, another game where you piloted a helecopter across the screen and had to pick up some 'treasure' at the end of the level (I can't remember the name). Still remember my parents kicking me off so they could have a go on it..
