I think it would be more challenging to find five good ground based AA units.

Tractor kannons - Cheap as a cheap thing that's really cheap, wounds flyrants on a 2 while ignoring armour and forces grounding checks at a big penalty. Also has a reasonable chance at forcing a flier to crash and burn via immobilised with just a glance. Winner.

Skyray - Optional Skyfire, wounds flyrants on a 2 with no armour, can easily be ignores cover BS 5 too. Also brings networked markerlights for the lols. And is cheap. And can blow its load turn 1 if required. And can Jink and still be BS 5 ignores cover because markerlights.

TLHYMP Broadsides - Even without skyfire these things can do a number on fliers through volume of shots. Gets real nasty with batman for ignores cover and tank hunter/monster hunter. Also good against everything else that's not a land raider or a monolith.

Grav Cents - Volume of shots means you can still bring a flier down when combined with immobilised. Becomes more of a sure thing when paired with Precience. Triple bonus points if Tiggy gets ignores cover as well.

Annihilation Barges - Cheap, but the beauty is the extra hits on 6's, which you need anyway. Huzzah! No ignores cover though, so you'll have to settle for making them jink and mabe sneaking a glance through. Still pretty rad for 90 points.

Wave Serpents - Main Battle Tank, Transport, Indestructible Brick, Super Scoring, Ultra Fast, Anti Air platform! Yes folks there's nothing this thing can't do! It can cut through a brink and still slice and dice tomatoes! Step right up now and for a limited time only, we'll throw in a gun that makes everything twin linked, which is also twin linked itself. That's right, but not only that, just for you, we'll make the highest strength gun have ignores cover! Yes that's right, ignores cover for no extra cost. Supplies are limited, so order yours now from your friendly local GW! Free steak knives for the first 20 customers.

That's 6, though if you wanted, you could add in Skyfiring Fusion blasters on Crisis, but that's kinda specific. Honourable mentions to the EPCA Burstide and Quadgun.

It is.

And of course, you don't take MoK terminators for the explicit, exclusive, speciality of AA. It's surprisingly satisfying to have a unit that has no business whatsoever with fliers picking them out of the sky. Plus, I suppose MoK terminators, while not as good at AA are a hell of a lot better at basically everything else than a dedicated AA unit.

They should be, at that cost...

Quadgun manned by a Vindicare.

Four shots, hits on a rerollable 2+, ignores cover so no jinking.

I'm rather fond of the Grey Knights Purgation squad. 16 S7 shots is something every flyer should fear.

Grey Knights 7500 points
Inquisition, 2500 points
Baneblade
Adeptus Mechanicus 3000 points

I run Imperial Fists and have been using 4 ML Devastators with Flakk missiles. I had been running 2 Storm Talons with Skyhammers. Since I have Siege Masters I like paying extra for the Flakk missiles over the points I was paying for 2 Talons. It's been working well and I get use out of them no matter what my opponent brings.

#1 anti air in the game is

5X Ork Tractor Kannons
+
anything that can turbo boost(warbikes or deffkoptas for 24")

Averages 1.8 glance/Pens on AV12 flyers.

If ANYTHING gets through their jink it causes an auto immobilize and you just turbo boost a unit 18" in front of the flyer. Baam dead flyer. (silly rules)

165 points for 5 T7 W2 models with 36" range. Can't beat that.
