Yeah, I have not really been blown away by the stretch goal... erm... (s)?

For a campaign which has attracted this much support there should be some serious stuff coming forwards from the creators

Seems like a cute little distraction. I've got friends that'd totally dig something like this to go with some drinking.

Why would they even need stretch goals? People are already throwing money at them

Very true, however it is always nice even if they are part of a planned role out of a KS.

I think "need" is a strong word, but they've already done stretch goals, so they're clearly aware of them.

There's just an overall stink of either unpreparedness or overall disdain for the people backing the game that bothers me most, and which is why, to me, it feels like a (very successful) money grab.

1. They allready did some stretch-goaling there. Right now, everyone who backs this receives his game in a neat, wooden box with a magnetic clasp. Considering #2, this is quite an additional value.

2. This project is backed by a lot of people for comparably low costs. So while they rake in the dough, I imagine the margin is not big enough to pull out something fancy as a stretch goal.

3. Inman is a great cartoonist and whatever he puts his mind to becomes a success. I have no idea who the other dudes are, but I am fairly certain that this game will be as enjoyable as say cards against humanity but rather better playable with groups of less than 5 people.

There are only 11k likes missing for a final secret stretch goal, so I would kindly ask anyone who has the slightest fancy for traditional games to just go and like the damn page:

If everyone who backed this would have liked it, we would have gotten that one allready, but what can you do...

TN/AL/MS state line.

Tempted to pull my pledge, but holding out for the secret goal. 112 cards plus a box are neat, but steep to justify for $35.

Black Bases and Grey Plastic Forever:My quaint little hobby blog.

40k- The Kumunga Swarm (more)
Count Mortimer’s Private Security Force/Excavation Team (building)
Kabal of the Grieving Widow (less)

Plus other games- miniature and cardboard both.

Traditional along the lines of 52 card pickup? Or skip-bo?

Just found this and instantly backed at the $35 level.

I've always been a fan of the Oatmeal, so it was kind of a no-brainer. It may be a little steep, but you're really paying for the Oatmeal brand name on it. It'll fit that "in between heavier games at a con" level of entertainment. The fact that they didn't overload it with stretch goals tells me this may actually deliver on time.

Here's hoping we get to the last stretch.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!
