The world doesn't need yet another space marine army. Dark Eldar could be a good foil since they're shooty, vehicle based, and won't feel like molasses after playing a fleet-heavy army.

I voted daemons anyway because they have best access to normal psychic disciplines and are a diverse army.

The Dark Angles. Because I'm curious as to what makes one angle darker than another, are 37 degree angles particularly dark?

I'll be preemptive and suggest:
Biker warboss with klaw, bosspole, da lucky stikk
Biker painboy
unit of warbikers with a nob with klaw to take challenges that the boss doesn't like.

Bunch (like 6) of trukks each with 11 boys and a nob with klaw and bosspole.

couple units of lootas shootin'. They double as anti-air.

unit of tankbustas in a trukk. Surprisingly capable, and can snag a bonus VP if you're lucky.

If I remember right, that leaves room for a little more to get to 2k, like a few deff koptas or something. That's the list I wrote for my ork buddy that now uses it when he wants to bring his "A game."

You basically line the trukks up like you're at the races, and zip over to the enemy and start smacking him on turn 2. I suggested using a CAD instead of other ork detachments because if the enemy leaves any trukks alive, they can come bike to bite him by being obsec at the end of the game.

Biker boss with lucky stikk is all but immortal, and don't forget to waaagh!!! on turn 2 so all the orks hopping off trukks can run and assault.

may i suggest a butt load of boyz, some trucks, a battlewagon, some mega nobz, a warboss or big mek, some gretchin and some other awesome things.

basically, see if you can find a good second hand lot on ebay or other site where you can get a load of stuff cheaper (they are usually pretty good lots)

i got 60 boytz, 20 grots, a battlewagon, 3 bikes, 2 trucks, a pain boy, like 20 nobz and 10 looters and a LOAD of spar ebitz for £110. NOT BAD take a browse my friend

Choose blood angels. Even though I don't want them, I find them very easy to play since I borrowed a friends BA
