In the same universe, I'd agree: basically, I agree with Evans as Cap and Torch. The rest...no. Different universes, so what's the big deal?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I'm just a little tired of seeing the same actors portraying multiple super hero characters even if it is across different IP's. Super heroes are way too iconic and I don't want to watch Captain America and say, "Wait! The Human Torch is in this?" or watch Deadpool wondering if this is before or after he gets the ring? It takes you out of the story, even if it's for just a moment and that's not what I want when I watch a movie.

Now, cross-genera films aren't a problem because most people weren't waiting for the rest of the cast of Parks & Recreation to show up in Guardians of the Galaxy. Genre differences are usually great enough to allow people like Ian McKellen to play Gandalf and Magneto without people thinking about it too much. But had he done both Galdalf and Dumbledore, more people would have a problem with it.

Speak for yourself! I'm still convinced that Thanos is just a puppet of Zorg, the volcano spewing lizard that will devour the universe. And Burt Macklen, Space FBI, is on a 5 year mission to stop him.

It will be tragic when Ron crafts Groot into a spear with which to slay the beast.

And even more tragic when Gery loses the Grootspear.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.

TBF, the FF movies are so terrible, IMO that when you guys started talking about Chris Evans being in them as Torch... I had to go, "wait... Evans was in a FF movie??" Yeah, it's that bad

And I suspect that, I, like many other fans will be saying the same thing about Reynolds being Deadpool. I saw the Green Lantern movie with him in it, and I was left thinking, "OK, that was kinda cool, but I'm not really convinced he was a fighter pilot, much less a Lantern bearer"

Whereas, when I watched Wolverine, and saw him play "pre-deadpool" (terrible terribly written part for a terrible, terribly written movie) I honestly thought that I was convinced he could pull off The Merc with the Mouth.
