Clamclaw, thanks for the sympathy-- yeah, that was a huge pain to get right.

Glad everyone's enjoying the shots- next up will be some more infantry, though it'll be a little bit before those are in a presentable state.

So this has inspired me to start painting my 30k Salamanders fanatically haha.

Awesome

Yeah, working on this is really getting me inspired on my other 40k projects that have languished a bit... since starting, i've dug up quite a few bits and pieces of half-finished conversions that are now primed and ready to finally see some paint.

Thanks, all

It'd been a while, getting back into them with a test model of a sergeant (man, do I love HH weapon load outs... also, notes)

This is great stuff, I especially love your Firedrake Terminators which look way better than mine. But I favor my own Pyroclasts

Thanks!

Fireball, yeah, nice job with those Pyroclasts, I just did everything I could to avoid the flame decal look by going dirty metal, but I think you pulled it off.

Thanks all, yeah, I've been really enjoying them- I've been tempted to do Salamanders since back when they got a little spotlight during Armageddon.

Rounding out the current wave of Salamanders (more notes)
