All you need now are cassian dracos and vulkan, salamanders essentials (well, painters essentials).

Those terminators look fantastic, really like you green and the flames.

On chaos-y, they're a bit down-to-earth for me thinking they're very chaos-y: FW's take on Night Lords, Word Bearers, and Sons of Horus epitomize the three parts of chaos I think work the best, terror, the occult, and no-nonsense brutality (plus at least a touch of hubris).

As a fellow 30k Salamander collector I salute you sir. I had a Vulkan that I was quite proud of, until a small child ground him into the wall...but I purchased a new one!

Vuklan, it's a base of drab green (IIRC army painter heavy grey), mixed down with dark angels green and black, mixed up with a very small bit of DA green and increasingly more bubonic brown (called something else now... I forget)

UGHHH Ive been trying to get his helmet sculpted for like a year now... how did you do that? And yeah it was rough, but happens i guess.

Thanks, all! Yeah, FW kits are a real dream to work with... having worked on this set really makes me want to just switch fully to FW lines when working with anything in the 40k IP.

This stuff is commission work, but really gave me the FW bug and now I've got some Death Korps of my own in the works, and looks like I'll be getting some Night Lords, so should be starting a few more threads down the line...

Midnight, umm, greenstuff around a magnet, and a ton of patience learned from handling teeny little bits of greenstuff, getting a perfect detail, and smushing it while I try to do something else (i.e. layering and working in tiny increments and then waiting for stuff to dry... I think i needed to spread that out over a week-plus.

Describing how you had to make the helmet made me frustrated by proxy... I can't imagine the skill and patience!
