You do realize that they sell to people who don't play in their tournaments, right? And that if you buy from their store you don't have to sign a contract agreeing to use their tournament rules?
Also, I see you've refused to answer those rule questions. Are you conceding defeat on the claim that you can play the game strictly by RAW without any modifications?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

I will take an extra moment in time, Mr. Noxis, (srsly) to try to channel my enjoyment of the next FLG tourney, likely BAO, tickets going on sale tomorrow.
And vicariously channel it for you.
I do feel blessed that there are a whole danged lot of rtts to go to here in Calif.

Step 2. Spend the coming weeks promoting how overpowered the new Eldar are.
Step 3. Create a challenge event with live battle reports, BEAT THE ELDAR AND WIN $250us !
Step 4. Sell a metric F*%K ton of Eldar
Step 5. ! ! ! ! PROFIT ! ! ! !
Step 6. Change your tournament rules and Nerf the living F*%K out of Eldar so that your customers who purchased Eldar either can't use the models at all, or can use a nerf'd version of them.
Step 7. Go straight to hell, do not pass go.
So your strategy now is to switch the conversation from how OP the Eldar book is to how under handed Reece is. I guess hoping to stop the inevitable nerf in the ITC. Classy.

Facepalm. Lots of ignorance around. As many have pointed out, if they made no changes for the eldar book's release, you would not be able to play d-cannons, hemlocks, wraithguard, or dual cannon wraithknights at all.
If you listen to podcasts, even when the eldar were just in rumor stages, they were saying D weapons, scatspam bikes etc may not fly. If you're one of those people that ALREADY has a bunch of unmagnetized scatbikes just a couple weeks after the book when they were being totally transparent about voting on them, I feel no sympathy for you. You obviously knew they were over the top OP, thus why you rushed to get them.
Additionally, if you don't play in the few ITC events directly run by FLG, this doesn't affect you at all. Other TO's are free to do what they want. They can even still call their events ITC events with different rules!
The 250$ challenges weren't put up to get people to buy models. He was trying to show how the book would wreak havoc on the tourney scene.
My long experience with magic tourneys has shown me this exact scenario before. The entire tourney scene worldwide suffered large declines in participation during mirrodin block, when a deck called "affinity" came into being. The deck was good enough that the anti-meta decks tailored to beat it still had less than 50% win rate against it. This led to a meta where we had a ton of affinity, a bunch of anti-affinity, and some dark horse decks that would lose to affinity but would beat the anti-affinity crowd. Thankfully, the DCI isn't like GW. They quickly banned a few key affinity cards to make it still powerful, but beatable. (I almost went to pro tour Honolulu with an adjusted affinity deck after the card bannings.)
We have a similar situation here. Just replace affinity with eldar, and the DCI with a profoundly stupid company.
I always find it hilarious that everyone will agree that GW is terrible at rules, but if you try to fix anything, those same people come out screaming "nooooooo" like you're trying to alter some holy scripture. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also I am glad the FLG crew has decided to be the heroes we need to have a tournament standard. Even if I don't agree with everything their standard has in it, having more hard tight rules is a nice change.
Kinda sucks that some very short sighted people throw a bunch of nerd rage at them for it.

But isnt fun for your opponents. Eldar are full of bs now, so if they want actual attendance at these tournaments from non eldar players, they have to change it or see their tournaments go the way of the dodo.
There aren't nearly enough people looking for a "challenge" to keep the tournaments full.

So what do the people claiming conspiracy have to say now that the votes are in and the community voted not to nerf jetbikes? Still a Reece conspiracy?
