Anything eldar, as eldar is the most boring and uninspired army in the game with a heavy emphasis on statistics and data rather than actual rng or player skill to field and win with.

Real talk I don't enjoy playing against them so much I have given up ever finding a fun eldar army to play and refuse to play them anymore. Coupled with my armies inability to fight them at all period I have 0 interest in playing them anymore.

This isn't even up for debate eldar as a collective are boring as watching grass grow to me. And I'd sooner try fighting a warlord Titan with nothing more than tactical marines.

Any Flying Monstrous Creature. I would rather my opponent start them on the table so that I can shoot them to crap.

In 1000 points game, I would be terrified to be up against an Imperial Knight, or a Wraith Knight.

And finally, you guessed it: the frigging Decurion Detachment. Even worse if there are Wraiths or Lychguards in there.

Any Psyker can do that. That is not convincing at all. What is really terrifying has to be Grimoir of True Names on a Daemon of Tzeentch unit. With Forewarning, you can have 2++ re-rollable.

Wraithblades? They just suck. Ignore them. I pity anyone who bought Wraithguards and end up with the wrong set of models.

I'm thinking Wraiths, as with the bonuses they just won't die.

All manner of unstoppable forces and immovable objects are boring - they remove a tactical aspect from the game either by being somewhat immortal or removing something outright, like D.

All things that completely remove your saving throws.
Nothing feels like a kick to the balls like a 2+ to wound, ignore cover, AP2/3. At best with a template so no to-hit rolls are made.
Might as well remove the unit as soon as he grabs the template.

Hmmm. Lately the least fun has been the 15+ warp charging re-rolling chEldar cheese lists I've been stuck playing against, completely invalidating my poor shooting, psychic, and assault benefits.

I haven't seen anyone even finish a Game against them yet.

My Spawn and Obliterators get the most hate out of my opponents though. And lately my counter to all the cheese units has been lowly pathetic cultists!

I love to see a 200 pt death star waste time on my 50 point cultists.

Fmc's should not be able to get 3+ armor when a ton of skyfire in the game is ap4. And unlike vehicles, you have no chance whatsoever of killing a flyrant with a good damage result on a good ap weapon, and you can't even maneuver out of the threat area because of fmc's having 360° firing arcs for some ungodly reason.

So yeah flyrants are my top pick for "units that need to die in a fire and have their rules designers swiftly follow them."

Based on my experiences playing as Tyranids (admittedly going back 10 years), they needed a unit which didn't die on turn one. Maybe things are different now but I remember Battle Sisters with AP1 Exorcist rockets and Sisters with AP1 bolters killing two Carnifexes per turn (I had four). I also remember my Warriors and Gaunts soundly thrashing the Sisters in every single assault but not managing to kill many due to the 3+ save. The only Tyranid units that stood any chance, except against the AP1 "cheese guns of doom", were the ones wearing expensive 4+ armour upgrades. So yeah, it's about time the Nids had something that couldn't easily be killed by basic troops choices.

My pick of most annoying unit to fight against would either be "anything from Codex Battle Sisters" - they seem like a tacked-on army which the GW has never fully committed to supporting, and their special rules are just annoying - or anything in power or terminator armour.

There is no single unit that is unfun to play against. It all depends on the army as a whole
