I would have to agree.

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...

Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.

Mhm, over a 1000 hours in World of Tank. Over 200 in EU franchise. Untold hours in Halo multiplayer.

.. To be honest I don't want to know, I'd probably get depressed if I found all the time I spent on MMO's and stuff not on steam.

Guild Wars by far. Between the two I've got probably 2500 hours.

Bear in mind that over 2000 of those are the first game, where I was studying/unemployed for about 4 years. I played a lot to pass the time.

Second would be Counter Strike. When I wasn't playing Guild Wars, I was playing CS Source.

Civilization, by far. Only franchises that even come close are the "source engine multiplayer" ones like team fortress, Total Annihilation / Supcom, and Elder Scrolls.

Maybe best not to once again mention my Call of Duty Modern Warfare hours.

So I'll just list my STO, which is the highest on my Steam Account at 1760 hours. (granted a fair amount of that time is Characters just standing around waiting for things to come off cool down while I did other stuff, like post on forums )

I got 714 hours with Total War: Atilla. I'd say half that is me going about my business while it sits waiting for me, but the entire Total War franchise is the single biggest consumer of my time.

And keep in mind, I say that when I have over a thousand hours in TF2 alone.

I don't know what it is, but I know I've spent hundreds of days playing World of Warcraft, just on my main. I've had the same Rogue since vanilla, which I started in May 2007 (shortly before the release of The Burning Crusade). I would venture to guess that my total time in that game is probably close to a year, if not more.

When I get home from this shift I'll check to see if /played still works.

I also played the gak out of the Halo games. I played Halo 2 religiously until Halo 3 game out, which I also played a lot of (though considerably less than Halo 2).

I have certain characters in EQ2 that have a total /played time of six or seven months... and I have eleven characters. I have been playing that game for ten years, though. My highest EQ1 character had 9 months /played time invested in her.

I have... 1944 hours in Skyrim alone (and going to add to that total later today). No idea what my total Morrowind and Oblivion playtimes are.

I've got... months invested in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Don't even want to think of the time spent in Tera, Lineage 2 or any of the other MMOs I've played.

Most played franchise would be Pokémon. So many releases over the years (even without counting the side games), so many replays to try and use all the available 'Mons (I doubt I've even used all of the originals, haha!), and it's portable so just about any down time is Poké-Time (on the bus, or in bed, or during lunch, or while the theater's playing ads, or while on the can, or in church, or....)

Individual game.... maybe Pokémon Yellow? Got it during the original craze and have been (re)playing fairly often since.
Or maybe, like, Spore instead. I dunno.

Does "source engine multiplayer FPS" count as a franchise? IE DoD:S, TF2, CS:S?

If not, I'd say Total Annihilation / Supreme commander franchise.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

No idea how long, I have several hundred hours on some Steam games, and there are games I played a hell of a lot more than those.

Perhaps Daggerfall, or Dark Age of Camelot absorbed the most time.

I take my time with my RPGs in particular, and can stretch a game with 'forty hours of gametime' to exceed that limit before I even touch the main quest.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I don't have any numbers but the franchise I've played the most is the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Both HoMM2 and 3 are fantastic games. Most played game would probably be either of those two or Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

As a kid I absolutely adored Pokemon, I even played through Y recently so for me probably that as a series. Games by itself is probably a mixup between Halo: Reach, Civ V and TF2.

Wow, I cant believe I forgot about Fire Emblem
Even the most recent game Awakening I put like 100 hours into one save, and another 120ish combining all other saves I've done.
