In a 1850 game, I would at least bring 2 Stormtalons myself and probably a Deredeo or Sicaran, so as long as it's not spamming an overpowered flyer, I would be fine with 4-5 flyers in my opponent's list.

Zero. Not because of any power imbalance or anything. Just because the flyer rules are kind of wonky.
-you crash because you got stunned and there are dudes on the ground 18" in front of you.
-FMC users especially seem to like cheating a few degrees of turning. And when I say a few, I mean like 45.
-they take up space on the table despite being in the air. You can't hang out below a flyer.
-they tend to be big bulky models balanced on little flight stands. Any sudden table shifts or klutzy hands and the thing will crash and burn all over some other models.
-It never fails every game with a flyer, the best tactical spot to put it in is a spot where placing the model is impossible due to the giant base etc. We constantly have to place wobbly model markers for flyers.

With covenant of tzeentch it's literally the same thing, giving you snaps at BS2 when you already got just BS2.
Always a good laugh when you shoot the same against jets and in overwatch as you do in normal shooting.
My current list is running Purge with an Ordnance Tyrant. No BS2 snap shots for me. I'm just throwing out autocannon and HB shots and hoping something sticks. Unless they're silly enough to stop near someone holding a melta, and I happen to get stupidly lucky. At which point hilarity ensues.

If it is in the air, it is not holding objectives.
Most fliers are costed to include flying as a premium, so take a chunk of scoring units out of the list.
As long as they cannot hose-down multiple units at a time, I'm file with having an all-flying opponent.
Oh, and if it lets me bring both vector-dancing Crimson Hunters, I'll go for that.
