Sure! As for metallics...say you want to paint gold, I'd take a base color, say for obvious results, brown...and then I mix it with the metal color, then I thin it. Essentially this gives you more color pigment so you can thin the paint better. Because metallic paints are made differently their pigment spreads out preventing you from thinning them as easily. The color basically just strengthens the pigment.

As for the white / chalky comment. The first pics look chalky...if maybe use a glaze to warm it up a little bit. I use glazes often. Sometimes 10-20 coats of it. It must be literally almost clear or else you'll see it and it needs to be more subtle than that. At least in the context of which I speak.

Of course there are no rules and these are just my techniques and experimenting for yourself will yield the most results!

Ehy mate! Thansk for sharing your metallic techniques, very kind.
I'll try it asap!

As for glazes, do you use ready to use glazes? like GW line or something like that?

Here is how it turned out:

There's a first try on NMM for the bronze trim of the armor. I don't really know how they look right now compared to the privious with metallic bronze...

Critics and comments are welcome as always.
