I don't know about in the US but in Canada when you find one of those 20% off retailers, they usually carry forge world stuff as well for the same discount. Granted, it's probably not going to be THAT cheap after factoring in exchange rates, but it's still something. I know Meeplemart in Canada sells forge world stuff for that discount (and are currently my only source for forge world since canadian exchance rates are even more crap as of this writing).

I would be very sketchy of that stuff, since forge world only sells through forge world. If they're getting it for less than forge world sells for, it's probably not legit.

^ This. FW doesn't sell to retailers like GW main does. I have never seen or heard of legit FW being carried anywhere other than FW site and the events they do. If someone is selling you FW at 20% off the FW site prices, either they like you enough to take a 20% loss on everything you buy or it's fake.

They come in the plastic bags Forge World ships in, the instructions and any certificates that a set might have. The resin is also the same kind of FW resin. If it is fake, then it's near identical to the actual FW product.

EDIT: The shop in question is Meeplemart if anyone wants to verify it. Granted, their stocks very wildly with FW products, so I don't know if they are buying second hand and just reselling it.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

I know blood and skulls industry do a conversion kit. I don't know if it is cost effective or even to your liking.

Holy Terra.

Or you could convert one, I've seen GW vindicators with resin legion Rhino front plates that look great (but that ends up the same price as the FW one). I don't have this problem as my local IR sells GW rhinos for 45$. So I just buy FW ones,

To this date I've not seen any stockist that offers discounts.

EBay is generally rife with crappy miscasts and I'd avoid those like the plague.

FW really is the only source of a legit kit unless you search trading forums alot.

I feel your pain though, as a mechanicum player I pay out £114 for 3 castellax.
Then add in another £15 shipping ontop of that.

Their website says they stock FW so maybe it is legit. I wish FW had a US distributor, I would order a lot more often.
