I'd go with Purturabo since he basically plays 40k in 30k.

Russ.
Russ's legion are unstable, monstrous savages.
And yet Russ managed to lead them, organise them and wage war with them using actual strategy and planning.

Johnson.
Prideful, arrogant and hateful. Everything a brother should be.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

Angron or Lorgar.

Sadly Early-crusade Angron (before he went totally off the deep end) and Later-Heresy Lorgar (after he grew up and stopped being so whiny).

Betrayer is one of my favourite books, as it's both of them at the tipping point.

I think Dorn is that guy who you would go have a beer with imo. So probably him.

Magnus is one of my favourites of the hereric side, because he was reallly one of the few people who was clued up about what Emps was up to iirc.

Best hair of course has to go to Fulgrim however. I heard he started his own designer hair gel brand after winning the best hair in legion award 10 millennia running. Quite an achievement.

Yeah, Dorn...not a friendly guy. Honestly, the have-a-drink-with question isn't easy. Most of the primarchs would be no fun to drink with. Some would probably sit in stony silence, like Dorn, Mortarion, Perturabo, and Manus. Booooring.

Some are kinda moody, like Corax, the Lion, and Sanguinius. You could probably clean up at the bar being the Angel's wingman, though. Corax maybe too with the goth/emo/vampire/whateveryoucallthemthese days chicks.

Guilliman, Magnus, and Lorgar would probably lecture you ALL night, so pass on them. Alpharius would slip something into your drink, and nothing good would come of an evening with Angron or Curze.

I have no love for the Vlka Fenryka, but Russ would probably be good to party with. You'd probably end up in a bar fight, but no "holy gak, dude" moments and arrests like what you'd get with Angron. Vulkan (before he went batgak crazy) seems friendly. And Khan seems cool enough. Pre-fall Horus also seemed like an outgoing guy whom the party would revolve around.

Fulgrim...is the elephant in the room. Clearly the guy knew how to party, but the question is whether you'd survive all the weird gak you'd do.

More like he would have all alcohol banned and have you executed for being engaging in the sin of alcoholism. Dorn kinda strikes me as the ultraradical calvinist type. Work hard 24/7 and never dare to have fun or relax. Fun is sin and relaxation leads straight to hell.
100% sure Dorn would be a teetotaller in any case

I have a lot of Primarchs I like, but my favourite I think is Perturabo.

Russ for loyalists, Angron for traitors.

Russ was famed for being able to flip Predator tanks with his hands and Angron made him his personal bitch for a night, so Angron overall.

Probably even Horus was scared of Angron.

A properly equipped Praetor, depending on the Legion, would stand a chance in a fight with Lorgar. Dude's not that scary, rules wise.

I love Corax for the Loyalists, him and his dark furies are the sole reason I play 30k (guess what legion )

For traitors it has to be Perturabo. Guy was sadly just really undervalued and misunderstood.

Also what Perturabo did to Fulgrim has me liking him even more. Fulgrim and Lorgar are my two least favorite Primarchs so...bonus that my two favorite Primarchs *almost* punked my two least favorite Primarchs.

Sanguinius is by far my favourite - though I quite like some others (Dorn and Alpharius).

Angron is by far my least favourite, he's basically just a berserker with no character.

HATE Club, East London

I play White Scars, Emperor's Children and Word Bearers. How much I like the Primarchs is often based on how they're written in the novels.

Corax, Vulcan, Curze and the Lion are, I think, really badly written, Corax in particular. They seem more like action heroes or archetypes more than actual thinking characters, and as such I find it hard to empathic with their decisions. Everything Corax does in a novel is the way a confused 13-year old would handle a situation. I also think the novels haven't been kind to Russ or Dorn. Yeah, you can argue that you like any of them because they're cool but that doesn't really make them believable characters.

I think the portrayal of Angron is brilliant. He sees the universe for what it is, fights by how own rules and is either resigned and nihilistic or angry that even he can't change things.

I also think Magnus was really well done - someone who actually only wants to do good, but is fooled by his own willingness to believe he knows best.

The Khan is nicely written, too (as are all his legion). I like that they avoided just making him a list of Asian stereotypes IN SPACE. He, again, sounds like someone who has reservations, but also has a bit of humanity. I like the fact that the traitors in his legion were seen as misguided souls and sent to atone by doing good, rather than just murdered. Seems a lot more realistic.

So, least favourite - Lion, Corax, Curze
Favourite - Khan, Angron

I think the Lion is written exactly as intended. Dude's autistic to the extreme. That's why the Lion/Luther combo was amazing, but once he ditched Luther, gak started to go downhill for him.

I like horus and angron as they are awesome, powerful, command tespect, and you can see the unfortunate events that caused them to be unintentionally led astray.

I also like the lion and cruz. The lion is smart, cunning, powerful, and one of the most strategic of them all. Cruz, well, he is just so nuts he is cool.
