My main issue was onslaught.
No end of lost orders with no proof of sending.

I then ordered them via steel crown.
That was slightly better, but tons of wrong orders and poor customer service.
They then faded away.

Since vanguard I've not had an issue atall.





That is something I should have gone with.
The old edenite models were amazing, but no one has really picked those up.

Now using trollz to get my necron proxies for basic troops.

Dammit, and there I was thinking I'd got my marines looking pretty good! Some spectacular work there, very precise, very clean, lovely blending.

I've been gazing at the Onslaught minis catalog too.. I'll keep an eye on your blog, be nice to see them painted.

Amazing how time consuming such small models are to paint.
Actually painted up a deathwatch rhino faster than I can a unit of epic tanks lol.



Not a lot of progress this time due to;

A: feeling like death the last few days
B: assembling loads of stuff


I've also decided I'm going to paint up a few units then Base them, as that's one of the longest and most annoying parts of it.
So I can have a few days painting then 1 night of basing it all.

This is also not including the following I've got left to assemble:

12 stands of devastators
24 rhinos


So while I'm making headway in painting, I'm once again buying faster than I paint lol.

Ahhh... Epic I do miss it so..
Still have all my original stuff including the Titannicus models. Love me some Super Gargants!

Due to life being a bitch etc it slowed me down massively, which pissed me off lol.
It's hard for me to get painting so when I'm on a roll, I don't like to stop.



Quick update with arrivals etc.

Had my Xiphon interceptors turn up from a Russian chap on eBay.
Really happy with the quality and detail one them.

Alas, it is bloody snowing so can't even prime them yet :(

Well, maybe FW's upcoming Adeptus Titanicus game might bring back Epic, or at least many new fans to the old game...

I'm a bit torn with the new titanicus news.

While I'd love new models, I'd want them in keeping with my other epic models.
I'd still buy the set for the game as I loved the original.


With the change in weather I can get some undercoating done finally!
Got 5 jetbikes and 3 paladin knights to get finished currently.

Also want to make a start on the xiphon unit aswell as a terminator company (vanguard models)

On top of this I've been slowly building an ork superheavy blasta bommer. (For no apparent reason either lol)




Finally, John from vanguard has previews of the soon to be released assault terminators too!
So I plan on a unit of firedrake terminators at the very least.

Know how you feel current thought is maybe a loyalist titan legion to go with my traitor legion.

Loving those tiny Xiphons, very cool.

Small update really today.
For some reason I had an impulse to build an ork super heavy bomma.
The rules for it in epic are great and even though I don't play orks, the model was something I had to build (still no idea why)

So after some chopping of old stormboyz, parts etc this is where it's at.
Still needs minor work like gap filling and finishing touches, but it's about 90% done now.












So that's it so far.

Being a sunny day I can also get some undercoating done at long bloody last!

Where is the aircraft's cockpit?

Beyond that the model looks amazing!

Forgot to add about that actually.
Currently there's a slight ridge where it should be, so that's going to be a small GS job to fit one.

Hoping to have a quiet night so I can crack on with some GS work.
Cockpit and a few small gaps and I can get some paint on it.





There is an old aeronautica imperialis model for it, but I scour ebay for it daily.
Seen 1 in the last 9 months and it ended at £138.
While I'd love the actual model, I refuse to pay that for it.

My impulsiveness does have some limits :p

Hmm, I should perhaps design a version of that aircraft for Vanguard Miniatures...

You would make me a very happy man if you did bud lol.
