sorry i haven't been uploading,
At the moment i am practising my painting skills, so me and dad sat down with a model and he taught me the basics and then i went on to creating this.

I am happy with what i have accomplished so far if you have any tips it would help me tons.
As dad was leaving for work he throw a model at me and said do as you please and remember the basics and so i have created this guy.

I think i did an amazing job hehe, but what do you think.

Clearly your dad is teaching you well and you are an apt pupil. A very good combination. As your dad says... the basics are very important. Neatness, use of color and multiple coats of thin paints. You get those three things sorted out and the rest will follow naturally. Not that you won't have to work at it, but the rest will make sense as you learn.

I am curious as to what the missing hand is holding...

Nice work. Both looking good.

Keep practising,
Read/watch as much as possible to learn new tricks and techniques (even the best can still learn new things),
And ask questions if someone has done something you like... or if you have a problem and need advice.

Not where I should be

Excellent brush control. The Elves are looking awesome. We need to get better pics, but the Captain is really good, you have a style all your own.

Very nice. Good detail, good choice of colors. Love the display base for the marine.

Nice work on the marine and his base.

Good work on the elves. Very eldar in scheme.
I like the blue/white armour on the last one's left leg in particular.
And the patterned nail polish.
