You can find most of the rules for the new releases in the CID forum. They're putting quite a bit of new stuff in with these theme launches. FWIW, the October releases contain the following Trencher stuff:

Siege2
Trencher Longgunners
Trencher Junior
Patrol Dog
Anson Hitch

Also a "Trencher Force Box" whose contents we haven't seen.

I like this direction - PP seems to be finally splitting from the traditional model and getting closer to what works for them. The mini-factions lets collectors run wild while not overloading play too much. Wish I wasn't in a black hole for WMH play.

That's actually one of the things that I was disappointed by GW not embracing it a bit more with AoS/40k.

I'm excited to see what Privateer Press does with the Trencher Corps.

There are definitely factions that I am super interested in a subset of but haven't really cared to buy into whole hog. Cryx is a good example; I really like the Black Fleet, but really don't have any interest in any thing else in the faction. I have factions I really want to focus on, but I can totally see myself parsing down some of my secondary factions to the themes I really enjoy and buying into the subsets of factions I've found interesting but too niche to invest in the whole faction for.

I'm more interested in Sub-factions right now rather than new factions. It looks like they're trying to handle sub-factions through theme forces, but we really haven't seen enough of the new theme forces that fit that bill.

I really wouldn't mind if one day a model released that wasn't usable in a normal force outside a number of theme forces, although I think people will initially dislike that decision, it fits perfectly with the many smaller factions idea.

I really want to see the Trencher box, but can't find any pictures beyond the smidge of trailer.

I wouldn't mind the theme force and sub faction stuff if they weren't setting up where you're expected to play the sub factions if you want to remain competitive. They hope to have a theme force for every model by Christmas so maybe by then I can play where most of my stuff isn't ~20pts down vs my opponent.

I can't help myself. I signed up for the monthly mini thing. Maybe it'll jumpstart my painting

Don't you main Cryx? Ghost Fleet ftw?

I own zero Revenants. It's all Banes and Satyrchicks and Bloodgorgers. At least now I can play the Banes again.

Oh, and Ghost Fleet itself isn't That strong. It's that it's being run by Deneghra1 and it turns out she's still good running at army with a bunch of guns. It's just the old Denny1 Pirates list concept but now your pirates are zombified.

Now you see how bad at the game I am. That and I haven't had to play against any Cryx players in a while.
