TTCombat's new DZC site is up: http://dropzonecommander.co.uk/
And an online army design program is linked: https://thetrolltrader.com/dzcbuilderbeta/
Note, appears to be using the 2.0 rules, and several values have been reported to be off from what they should be.

At a glance at the example armies on the new website they look to be bigger than some of the earlier games armies (I think, but that might just be me being mistaken as I never fully got into the game and only glanced at it from the outside)
Looking forward to seeing the dropfleet website!

They had a 2 week (or longer? ) pre-release event leading up to their release and launch of the new book. In addition they had limited edition ships for sale on their website and a big reveal on the 16th June I think. So yep its all out there in the wild - the Resistance Fleet; the new 2.0 book (rule book for Dropzone and addon rules for Dropfleet).

Looks like it's live and Beasts of War had a video, but I don't see it for sale anywhere else.

So, can I order it through my FLGS? Or is it a case where I need to buy it and have it shipped from the UK miss out?

Good news, I asked on FB and some folks have their fully painted.
One guy mentioned having them on order at his FLGS.

Yeah I've not seen much for independent retailers on the book. Lots of resistance boxes, but the book is hard to find. From what I understand TTCOMBAT got absolutely slammed with orders, which is awesome but does mean that people have been seeing delays on orders, at least from the main site. I've heard of delays even on orders that don't include new models. It seems it was a needed breath of fresh air.
Hoping to get the book at least soon. I have a UCM ground army and a PHR fleet and I'd love to see what they're up to in battle for Earth

The only two distributors that seem to carry it are Golden and Kingsley, Golden had an issue where theirs was stuck in customs but I *think* that was resolved, as long as your FLGS is using one of the two you should be able to get it.

I bit the bullet and ordered directly. I move next month (new flag incoming!) so hopefully it'll be waiting for me when I get there.

DZC just got some behemoths and a few new units have been previewed, notably double-hulled, double barreled tanks. I have it on good authority that the new designs are trash and the game is ruined.

Far as I know Behemoths aren't out yet; but they've been releasing some new tanks and upgrade packs for some existing models.

Oh yes I forgot they showed that one (actually now I think on it I think I even made a thread on it a while back). However I don't think we've see any of the others besides that monster (which I have to say is supremely impressive - and I say that as someone who otherwise doesn't like the PHR mech designs)

I like that. Very Ghost in the Shell.
I dunno how people think Behemoths are a bad thing. I mean, this is a 10mm scale we're talking about, they aren't going to be stupid sized like Warhammer titans are.
I mean, that PHR behemoth is what, 8"-10" tall? That's reasonable.

They had some fancy canon reasons for there not being behemoths, and they are a little iffy in the v1 rules.
However, DFC and DZC are two games that are good examples of allowing themselves to be limited perhaps a bit too much. Glad to see TTC pushing things along.

The game and designer are certainly willing to evolve. At one point the Resistance was never ever going to get a fleet for Dropfleet. Then they approached it from a new angle, respecting that Resistance Dropzone players wanted a tie-in fleet like the other 4 armies and that leaving one out wasn't good for the game nor the fanbase. So they approached it from a new angle and instead of having the ground forces owning a fleet they created an outpost of various human settlements in space who mounted their own resistance.
So it not only gave players the physical models they wanted but also created an "in world lore" reason for them to exist that fit with the current narrative without having to change things.
Heck they even managed to make ramshackle and ordered neatness work on the same core hulls and sprue which is quite impressive.
