Chaos Orc seems to have most of it.

I've used them twice, they ship fast and shipping is free over $100.

So now I just need a good idea for alternative heads or additional headgear for the Marionettes (for a more Samurai Robot look)

turning those:

to look more like this:

That's why somebody needs to do a decent hard plastic, modern scale samurai infantry kit- so we can kitbash together all of our musha mechs.

I still hope these are a little bit larger than the dreadball ones. Heck if it was up to me they'd be on 40mm bases. Sumo lizards need GIRTH.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

PW have done a few that might work, tho they're still mostly human and too big for those Mantic bots:

the PuppetsWar Heads might work but from their range I guess would fit better
https://puppetswar.eu/models-and-bits-50/all-bits/heads/drone-heads.html

and using those Shoulder Pads

Oooooo I thought about those drones, but forgot that they had those hats going on as well as lenses. Good call.

Mini Command Protocol for Deadzone is aimed for 24th August

Matsudan and Spectra rules as well as re-worked rules for Monobike (now its own unit instead of an upgrade) as well as new units for Enforcer and Veer-Myn

Matsudan preorders are up

https://www.manticgames.com/games/new/

The 3 specialists are available separately for £9.99 each direct from Mantic but the full Faction starter is £29.99 and is the only way to get the leader so it's a better deal. It's a pity they didn't do a bundle of the resins only as I already have all the Asterian parts.

On the topic of alternate parts for Warpath bits, I was never a fan of that tiny window in the nose of the Enforcer interceptor / bomber so I made an alternative that can be 3D printed. You can download it from here:

Have there been any rumors of another yearly book for Deadzone this year? I never picked up Escalation, but I don't want to do it now if its going to be replaced in a few months.

I just quote myself from the post above

the yearly book for Deadzone will be a free booklet (downloadable and integrated in the digital version)

Is the magazine any good?
I’ve never read one, and don’t even get WD anymore.

Might be worth a one off read (I don’t really do any historical, but like the look of some ww2 stuff, not that this issue seems to have any).
But otherwise it’s just half price abyssals. For £3 I’d just grab it, but as I have no use for the models specifically.. would be good if it’s an ok read too

Looks like they’re trying to trick me into reading a historical wargaming magazine.

from my experience, historical wargame magazines are always worth a read

Ha!

Well said - and true!

But you do have to be careful - you might learn something too!
