Everythung looks sooo awsome. I especially like the flyrant and the jetbike. What will you count it as by the way? If you explained it earlier, I'm really sorry but I don't have the time or patience to read through 10 pages.

I've been planning to eventually, but so far haven't had the time or the cash to get it set up.

poptarticus wrote:lovelovelovelovelove the inquisitor. Will a painted pic be forthcoming?

I hope so, but that's up to the buyer.

I'm honestly not sure what the buyer is planning to count the jetbike as. He asked me to build it, so I did... but I'm assuming it will just count as a regular bike in game.

Empchild wrote:Can't wait to see her retinue.

I'm not doing the retinue... just the bases, so that they match.

I hadn't been quite happy with the insides of the bike's wings... they were just too plain.

So, I scribed in some panel lines, and added some hydraulics. I'm also looking at options to magnetise the wings for safer transport.

Meanwhile, a little more putty work on the legs:

Started on the backpack:

And added a blade to his weapon and a magnet to his shoulder:

So as of right now, he's looking something like this:

Looking great! The added detail to the inside of the wing came out fantastic. Litle things like that really make a huge difference

wow awsome stuff looking forward to seeing more of it.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

That's a cool ride. I like the detail and the boltguns on the underside. And you fixed the captains head. I am partial to the sergeants head though.

If you check out his site; He normally typically doesn't paint minis, only his own/familys'. For his consignment stuff he only does the converting/modeling.

that is one truly inspired Jetbike you have put together. Nice work on the greenstuff as well, I hate the stuff as it never does what I want it to do, but that cape looks awesome!

Actually, I have no idea. Certainly more than I quoted for... Tracking the actual time taken on each job is a problem with commission work that I've been trying to find an easy solution for, since I tend to underestimate just how long a lot of jobs are going to take. Trying to keep a log has been an epic fail, since I forget to update it

Meanwhile, Jetbike has a base:

Also ripped off the shield and reattached it with magnets so it can be removed if necessary.

Glued magnets into the bottoms of 4 rippers:

Work progressing on 7 discs to fit into the circle on the Flyrant's base:

Drilled holes for magnets in the base:

...which once filled in, look like this:

...which lets you do this:

...with the rippers serving as removable wound counters.

The swappable discs at the front will have these guys:

...and a couple more friends, with the idea being that the appropriate casualty can be slotted in for whichever army is currently being fought.

Did you come up with that or was it the client? either or it's a great idea.

The removable casualties were something the client requested. The actual execution (excuse the pun) was mine.
