Hmmm....... Maybe but then i'd have to make hella posession around the pod, could a creature survive the whole pod thing? deamon or not? prehaps a semi-organic looking membrane i'm more inclined to model, but how!

No new pics... yet but i've been lowly painting more CSM, and once i've painted all CSM (infantry only) i will buy more stuff for the admech.

Woood elf hooded head, holding an auspex, cadian body, HE archer legs, vox caster, satalite dish on one side, lasgun on the other, and extra antennae making the backpack big. His representation is he doesn't use a glamour but rather he hacks the enemies targeting system and makes them attack themselves!

oh yes! i noticed that when i made the post!

So i wanted different lasguns, Using lasguns but counting as warpfire just seemed.... off. Mind you i would like to use some of the more regimented units in the admech force to be used as IG in the future if i ever buy the tanks!

But i wanted a different lasgun, i was on the fence between two simple conversions, lasguns with barrels removed and either
A:Kroot rifle ends; these seemed to look too much like melta guns though...
B: The old, gross, and almost nippley Smoke launchers for the Russ kits

the latter won, it gives the gun not only a non-imperial feel but also a kinda tesla style zap zap pe pew kinda lazer gun kinda feel!

Where the hood at?

As mentioned last week for your horrors that don't have covered faces, greenstuff and one of these legos = instant gas-mask/atmosphere purifier or what ever you want to call to suit back story.

I considered starting a Chaos Deamons Army but I like the fluff element that the Dark Apostle is a Chaplin whos gone to the dark side. I also loved that I could put 10 Khorn Bezerkers in a Rhino drive them right into the enemy front line and then jump out and cause mayhem while the more level headed Troops could focus on the objectives. Meanwhile I've got a Dark Apostle summoning deamons at will with 3 Oblits protecting him and killing all those foolish enough to get in the way.

MUHAHAHAHAHA

I loved playing this army.
