That is pretty steep. So, they are trying to move the sets out of their warehouse while also pricing them not to move. Mixed signals, Reaper.

I received an order with one of the new material CAV planes in it. Older CAV aircraft were often warped, some unfixably so, but this one was not warped in the slightest. However, it had extra gates or something, lots of points of material that needed to be cut off, and cleaning it was pretty much the same as any Bones model.

The interesting part to me was the appearance (in the right light at the right angle) of not just print lines, but also some weird polygonal effect probably resulting from the render. I don’t believe either would show through the paint—at least not the way I paint, but the overall effect reminds me of Star Fox a bit.

My experience is that primer fills in the 3d print lines nicely.

And as the year draws to a close I must say that this has been my favorite thread this year. Here's to a 2022 filled with cool minis.
