meh. too busy IMHO. Nice models but way too much going on to actually notice any detail.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

@agnosto-
IMHO: that's only if you don't take the time to look. I think that the detail that went into those is stellar.

Don't get me wrong, they're great models but they make my brain hurt.

The first one looks orky and the second one looks like a tyranid mech.

wow. that first one is rad!

the second one has its charm, too, but the top pic there...just, wow.

the starship on their site is pretty sweet, too. makes me wish I had more disposable income...

What is the obsession with Tau having Titans?

I don't get it. They've shown, in the background, that they know Titans are a stupid idea for an effective weapon(outside of brute forcing it--which the Tau aren't really a force that employ brute force).

I dunno. Some people think everything needs titans.

Those have more of an AT-43 vibe than 40K.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

dude, if it's around 1200 points, has a few Destroyer weapons & some structure points, they can call it a Tau Jellyfish for all I care - if it looked like that I'd field it!

but I don't think a Joe Mad mecha is necessarily a bad thing, though...

Overall, detailing is very good, and excellent choice to do resin. Very Japanese Gundam-style.

The first "Briegel" is a bit overdone, but quite good.

The second "Hecaton" I just don't like - the shape is confusing and messy.

They do a very nice "Galbaldy" knock-off that's obviously inspired by Gundam Zeon Zaku...

And the Schnabel Gun is very Gundam Sazaby-style.

The "Bower" is very Armored Core style.

They're all conversions of Gundam models. Turns out this guy's a big fan of the Sazabi.

These look nothing remotely like Gundams.

They're good models, but they are really only good at being their own thing. They don't deserve to be shoe-horned into someone else's IP, Tau or otherwise.

That is a super-heavy, but its not a titan. The issue here is people want big killy robots with big guns.

You would be wrong. There are many styles of Gundam, not just Hajime Katoki, and I've seen several others of similar design which predate this stuff by decades.

Makoto Kobayashi of AS Wars / ZZ Zwei would be an example.

Oh, yeah - his "Scnhabelgun" is clearly a knock-off of the much older Kotobukiya Neo-Geo...
