First off, i am sorry if there is any problems with my old thread in the P&M folder, i however needed some motivation tog et some painting done, i hope any moderaters will excuse me.

So i play a fairly generic catachan army but i try to pry in some interesting conversions in here and there, so i will post my new army stuff as i go along,
Sadly mind-reading does not work over Broadband connections so i whould be delighted to hear your thought instead.
What i have got now:

My company commander, known as "Indy" to my friends. The "i bet you can't make a...." model "Cata-Chan" is also visible


My Converted Master of ordenance, i really like how the conversion turned out, Cadians get a blackberry, Catachans get a notebook and a map.


This is my platoon commander, nothing special about him really.

This is my colossus Siege mortar (or my Colossal siege mortar anyway) I wrote "Minnie-May" on the barrel for some reason i cannot remember.

The barrel slids off and reveals the basilisk barrel underneath, i know i know its cheap.

I like how the master of ordnance ended up and i like the overall look of the army, really feels like catachans, good job!

Master of Ordinance is my fav as well. Is that an auto cannon on the top of the punisher? Keep up the good work.

Hey there, I really like what you are doing here, especially on the modeling side. The details are well thought out and the execution is good.

I especially like your master of ordnance, you may have inspired me to do something similar actually.
The map and notebook is brilliant, loads of detail and I really feel that he´s part of something important.

Your marbo conversion is nice as well, will be interesting to see how he ends up.

As far as criticism goes, I think you might benefit a lot from some washes here and there, and the bases could stand to be just a little "neater".
I dig what you´re doing with the bases, but the fact that there is still basic black showing on them spoils the effect a bit.

Also, for conversions it is always important to think of scale. Meaning that when you add something to the model, consider whether it will add to the effect of the model.
Or if it will confuse the sense of scale, like objects that are very recognizable from every day life..

Wow, this went on a bit, but I think you´re on to a great start here, keep at it!

The master Of Ordenance was really fun to do, first i just added the map, then the notebook, then the compass and pencil. he was so fun to do that i just hept on adding details so the map is actually drawn on both sides =)
