Battle scenes. We all love them, and have our favorites from games, movies, and books.
Post yours and why.
The Mandolorian/Republic Troopers charging a much superior force just looks awesome, and has the classic theme of
"Outnumbered defender leads glorious last charge" that we know and love.
Jedi outnumbered? Not for long.
Bring in de CLONES!! I love the charge of the clones as they clash with the Sepratists.
Cavalry charge. 'Nuff said.
Awesome. Outnumbered defenders holding out despite all odds? Awesome.
Bit annyoed, as all my fav. scenes are brutally edited on youtube.
I love this scene (went its full length) as the starship troopers hold out against a massive bug horde, and in typical style, get horribly mangled. Fun times ^^
Absolutely awesome bit, and its easily my favorite fight scene.
Quite a cool bit in FF, where sin comes along and destories all the machina, in one big attack.
Ace bit, where general raam is first seen. He was so much cooler than skorge.
I could think of some more, but most arent on youtube -.-

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

Even though I love my movies and games bloody, my books hardly ever have any fight scenes in them. Although the scene in "The Exiles" short story where all of the fictional characters are preparing to attack a rocket landing on Mars is pretty cool.
@Ghosty, God Bless the cast and crew of Starship Troopers, except the second one, that one was lame as hell.
This totally captures the fightin' spirit of 40k. Awesome CGI too.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
I'm both chaotic and orderly. I value my own principles, and am willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce them, often trampling on the very same principles in the process. At best, I'm heroic and principled; at worst, I'm hypocritical and disorderly.
Not your typical, ho-hum, run of the mill battle scene

Still the best fight in the LotR series, IMO. The massed battles are great CGI spectacle, but they aren't great fights.

*looks around in disbelief*
They were ALL lame as hell. Every single frame of that series was concentrated lame. Talking about some of the least gritty, most unrealistic battles ever here.

Yep, it really highlighted Viggos actual talent with a sword, and the choreography for that sequence was superb. For me, it set the bar pretty high, and the rest of the trilogy was a let down when it was all CGI/digital masturbation and just got silly.

no....no.....no....
the first one was SUPPOSED to be corny, cheap, and campy...that was the whole point.....it's funny that that is lost on so many people.....
100% awesome, although it is a fight, not a battle.

Wanna see a real battle? This stuff is off the hook. I'm afraid I'm not sure how to place the movie in the post because I'm illiterate, but click this link if you want to see some crazy rioting (especially at the end).
