So apparently my brain only works in the market of huge at the moment. I was asked recently to build a large apartment style building for apocalypse rules. This is the outcome a 7 Story beast, Its 25" Tall and 12.5" on the sides its not painted but mostly built,I primed most of it to see how the detail work look with some coats of paint on them and to help get some of the shading right. there is still a lot of minor details to be added, But I am just curious to see what everyone else thinks at the moment.





















I also plan on painting some graffiti on the lower part of the building and the billboard is going to have a worn IG propaganda poster strewn about it

Speaking as a structural engineer I think it is missing a few major structural elements (beyone the fact that it is partially collapsed).

Speaking as a gamer it is an awesome bit of terrain with a good balance of believeability and utility in the game world

I love the rebar in the floor, it looks fricken sweet! To finish it off you really need to make window and door frames.

To remove a bit of that foam look a spray on texture paint would do wonders. Just remember it melts your foam like any other spraypaint so prepare it first.

Once you get frames in make sure you put in some broken/whole windows to add to the trashed battlefield appearence.

Im going to be adding windows and shards of glass everywhere once I get it painted that way i dont have to mask off all of the glass that I put down.

Absolutely!!! I was asked to do 3 skyscraper type buildings to create a downtown city feel, where units were fighting from building to building. This is the first one and I have 2 more to make so on the next one I will go through the steps. This one is to be the biggest though. The Idea is that most games are fought across a horizontal playing area. This and the other 2 buildings will make it so your playing more of a vertical fight and allowing for walkways to be put in between buildings and the different floors. So units can move back and forth and also bottle neck the fighting causing someone to be good at close combat and also shooting. So playing more of a vertical game will be an added benefit and use a different type of strategy... I am pleased to see everyone is liking it so far, The positive feedback is major inspiration so thank you everyone. Also the Ideas are always great so keep them coming!!!!!
