Right to the Point.

Having looked at the New, Advanced Order Plastic Daemon Prince Sprues in Detail, as well as the Assembled Miniature Examples, am I right in thinking that, with the exception of having to Mail-Order the Feet and Legs, there are enough Components in the Box to assemble 2 Daemon Princes? See for yourself!

Looks like there's only one back half to the torso, too, at least assuming they're two-parters like they look.

Oh, so there is, you're right! Still, just Mail-Order those 3 Components, and you've got 2 Daemon Princes! That's pretty neat, actually. I may have to take advantage of that.

i think your missing a sprue because on the description it says it comes with 45 different pieces and i counted does 2 sprues and it only comes up to 34

Funny, I didn't notice that. I went to have a look just now, and I can't see any Parts on the Example Miniatures that aren't on the Sprues. Must be a GW Mistake. Besides, those are the only Sprues it displays. Definitely a GW Error on the Number of Parts.

Yeah but i dont think they would put that many parts so you can make 2 out of them i mean one set of legs but where would you get an extra set of legs?

From a Bits Supplier. The War Store if you're in the US, or Bits and Kits if you're in the UK.

However, it seems unlikely that there will be lots of extras of these bits floating around... If anything, they will be the bits that aren't, since they aren't optional when you build a DP from your kit...

Best bet is to order it and magnetize everything that would make one cool mini!

What are you talking about? Never what? There's nothing to contradict; Bits and Kits stock just about every Warhammer Component there is, so I'm pretty sure they'll do so for the Daemon Prince.

They will, but they'll have them in once every blue moon when the stars align and the sun is eclipsed. It's hard to get a lot of certain parts that are especially useful. These will likely be one of those.

True enough. But then again, I'm a Computing Whore, so I'll always be there, hitting Reload Page every 4 Seconds, waiting for them to Re-Stock.

What about the wings?

Well, you'll have to configure one without them. Unless, of course, you want to Mail-Order that as well. It still represents a Saving over buying 2!

You can use balrog wings, winged nazgul wings, pegasus wings...

Yeah if I ran bits & kits, I'd charge £20 straight up for DP legs.
If you're running Iron Warriors, you could use Sentinel Legs.
You could always use Eldar War Walker or Wraithlord legs for a bit of a unique look.

I love the plastic kits where you can *almost* get twice as much as GW intended out of it.
