I like axes. Axes should always be an option. That ax is especially cool.
Axes. Axes. Axes.
Also, I like the heads, in contradiction to the reviewer. I'm not a Chaos player though...

Hmm, I wonder if the fly head from the Chaos Spawn kit would fit on it and not look rediculous... Yay, 1500 posts!

I agree with the reviewer. The model looks boring. Maybe if it was released when it was shown (what, a year-and-a-half ago?) maybe it could've shined, but right now next to the kits that are out there he just seems bland.
Not on my list, seeing as you'll get lots of guys with similar builds given the limited poseability. Still, it's probably cheaper than the metal beastie, and might come in handy one day.

Nope, it's more expensive-£20 compared to the previous £18

Agree with the review, the biggest problem is no leg options imo, this alone will lead to many of them looking alike, even if converted.
Overall, when you consider how amazing the previous 40k daemon prince was, I think it is a shame they abandoned so much of it's design and proportions... I am not saying to just do it over in plastic, but for instance similar legs and head wouldn't have hurt.
Oh well wouldn't be buying it anyways, but would have been nice to oogle a better presented kit anyhow.

It's funny, but I saw the model in person and was amazed by how small it was, compared to how some of the pics made it seem.
Somehow, I expected him to be bigger than an Ogre.

In the UK it's more expensive. In the US it's $2 cheaper than the current metal model.

I agree with comments that you get less I this kit than first appears. It is essentially one body and legs two heads and various weapon arms plus wings.
Fortunately GW can get away with limited variety of this kit because most armies outside Apocalypse games will only have one daemon prince.

But let's get serious: are you really going to build him for WHFB? Of course not. Plus, the generic chest piece reminds me too much of my old 'battle-damage' He-Man model where if you tapped his chest it would rotate and get progressively jacked-up looking.
Screw him! I like the WHFB chest!

Not really sure what to think about that actually,
It seems to me like it lacks something, I' not exactly sure what that may be.
I cant believe I'm saying this with my bad experiences with my Bloodthirster, But I think I might stick to the metal one, as It just looks better to me.

Sorry, but is anyone still listening to what JohnHwangDD says? I find my eyes swivel to the left whenever I see one of his posts, and whatever he's written becomes sort of irrelevant...
Trying to stay vaguely on topic, the Daemon Prince is just average - I think they ended up without enough pieces to do either the WH40k or Warhammer versions properly because they put both in one box.
