I'm now thinking about starting Chaos Space Marine army.
But problem is.....I can't decide what Legion I play.
So I made these 4 miniature to decide my army. These are from my spare parts.(I thought I use it for My fallen angels.)



4 of them.


Iron Warriors! (Ignore left shoulder pat. I didnt have left sholder to fit on this.)
They love Vindicator. I love Vindicator too!!
Problem is this stripes. They love to paint stripe on armor! but I'm not good at it :(



Word Bearers!
First traitor. I don't like their fluff but yeah they look cool.



Alpha Legion!
I like their colour & fluff a lot. I tried to paint scale on left leg but failed!



Black Legion!
Fluff is Ok,I love their color. They are popular legion,aren't they?
I tried to paint they look like "metal". Can You see little silver?

Alpha legion please?

I'd say Black Legion, from your paintjobs. The Black Legion Marine definitely looks better than the others, paintjob-wise. I'd probably hit up those gold parts with a Gryphonne Sepia wash though, as they'll look a lot more rich. After that some edge highlights would be really good, done in a dark grey like Adeptus Battlegrey.

I would say iron warriors if you fixed up the stripes and yellow.

Your Iron Warrior looks good except for the yellow. I suggest Golden Yellow instead of Sunburst or whatever it's called.

Change that, or still with the Black Legion scheme, always classic.

I think the Iron Warrior one looks the best. If you want to improve the stripes I recommend the following tips:-

1: Take your time. Don't rush the process. Rush it and they'll be all wobbly and uneven.

2: Use Iyanden Darksun. Use Golden Yellow or another yellow and the black will still show through, meaning that you will have to apply a second coat, which may cause the stripes to become uneven.

3: Use a coat of Devlan Mud once the stripes are finished. This will tone down the stark constast between the yellow and black.

This is what I used for my Iron Warriors.

Remember rome wasn't built in a day and all you might need is practice with something, took me a while to be able to paint wellish. Also you can always tidy up mistakes. Best way to go is take your time and when you're trying to get something done like for example the lines make sure your elbows are resting on something to help steady your hands.

If you like the Fluff and the colour, just go with alpha legion, i think these 4 are all pretty nicely painted, and you can still look up other ways to paint the colour scheme if you don't really know how to get it right

I guess I'm the only one who thinks your word bearers look the best? I really like that maroonish color though, so I am slightly biased. They all look good though.

I'd say Iron Warriors. A neat trick that was being discussed here, for your - and this is applicable to any Metallic Colours, not just Gold - which involved a Mithril Silver Base, followed by 3-4 Washes of Gryphonne Sepia. It looked sick, and has a real depth and warmth that painting it normally just can't give you. As for the Free Hand on the Stripes, another trick of the trade is to line in the Stripes first with Pencil, and then colour them in.

Stripe painting...u need a long thin brush and take your time in long thin strokes....

Your Alpha Legion looks good... nice change from the more typical chaos colors.

Finally,I decided to play as "Alpha Legion"

Last one spare model,I paint diffrently.

I had hard time with green trim.....hmmm...

For thick line,I'll use dark angels green. And for thin line use scorpion green,it is same one tho.

And I'm thinking about using wash on it. Blue.
