Welcome one and all to this space marine blog!

Here you will hear the tale of the War for Solovidla. The system was consumed by chaos a millenia ago and the Black Templars of the Defaeco procul nemisis oculus crusade were sent to destroy them wich the did but, their casualties were high and did not want to relive that moment alone again. Now a mellenia on the crusade is still around the galaxy and has been called upon to destroy the Chaos once more. But thistime they were not alone. The forces of the imperial fists decended on the system to take heavy losses and fled to a friendly system and wait for the reinforcements of the Black templars and Emperors Templars. The War for Solovidla had begun!

Now here are the first VERY pip minis:

I can't believe you even considered posting these pictures, the quality is so horrible that the mini could be Golden Daemon winners and no one would notice.

Hey Indiana, poipo32 may be harsh (and should maybe have a look back at Da Dakka Rules) but he has a point in that we cannot see much from your pictures...

They're very blurry & dark, you should try and:
- rest your camera on the desk or something that doesn't move as much;
- wait for daylight, put your minis in front of a white-ish background, and/or turn on some more lights / camera flash.

The colour scheme seems nice and with good contrasts, but we cannot figure out much from here!!

Anyway, keep working!!

Work on holding your camera steady - these look like they're taken by a camera phone if I'm not mistaken. I have a crappy point and shoot camera from like 2003, but I can get consistently good pictures by use of the macro setting and some decent lighting. Taking pictures against a white background helps a LOT - something as simple as a piece of printer paper propped up against a book is all you really need.

You could also try to take several pictures in the same position : maybe some will be less blurry, some more...

And select the best one to upload : best light, contrast, mini in the center, no blur, etc...!

Most cameras (even some you have for around 50€ - that should make around 35£) have a "macro" option, which allow to take some close-up pics...

Just experiment!!! (and cameras are not only useful for the Hobby, you know )

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

Are you zooming in while using the macro? If so, stop that! ha If you aren't...well...I really don't know what to say. Also, aren't the Crimson Fists an Imperial Fists splinter chapter? Just another one of Dorn's many legions to paint up with these guys!

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.
