Blade is from an Old G.I. Joe machete I found.
I'm going to green stuff and then re-paint. Will post pics w/ the greenstuff.

Looks good but that blade might be a tad to big. However GS can do wonders on about anything so I'm saving my vote until later. All that aside keep up the great work!

I'm going to make the arm a little bigger with GS, and add purity seals, cloth, etc
The blade will look better when I'm done.

You'll want to remove the Multi-Melta details from the force weapon arm. A hose or two could be kept as power cables but the fuel tanks just shout MULTI MELTA!

ssshhhhh! Its a secret!

Nice. Could do with a little more flexability on the sword arm.

Your camera is too close to the Dread. It's focusing on stuff in the background.

I know about the camera, I'm using my crappy one to get quick pics. I'll use a better one when I finish green stuffing.
And I'm going to remove the fuel canisters.

It's the god hand from Gundam G isn't it?

I like the dread so far will you be adding runes and power lines to the sword?
not sure why but it reminds me of this

By that I mean the Ram blade on the front of the ship.

I dont mean to criticise, as I imagine your doing the best with the converison that you can...but it looks to inarticulate. How exactly does the Dread wield the blade, by just ramming into things with it? I think you could dramatically change the dynamics of the model if you find a furioso right arm and attach the blade to that....just looks to strange the way it is right now.

Old thread guys, but I'll post up the finished pics here in about half an hour. I finished this project months ago.

Also, He can swing it, just short range. Thats what the normal ccw is for.

Might want to build a small arm to stick that blade on. The range of motion suggested by the joints (or lack there or) make it look very static.

I really like seeing bitz from other types of models integrated in a 40k conversion. Keep us posted!

Oh, and don't forget to strip the dread. I'd reccomend a spray down with some Easy Off as you'd need ALOT of simple green to soak that bad boy.

I just love the blade on your dread... it's.... totally obscene! So 40k...

I couldn't find anything else.
Also, I'll openly admit to trying out lego keys to have hanging off a chain. Too big, sadly.
