Ultramarine Land Raider Pilot on Cruise Control
|
Hi, i bought a copy of fraps the other day and am now regretting it.
For starters it lags like hell in my game and has no sound in its playback.
I have tried loads of fixes i found on the internet but none of them seem to work :(
So is there any way i can get a refund from fraps? or will it be £25 down the gutter...

You are probably better addressing any complaints or problems to FRAPS themselves rather than a wargaming site.
Do they not have any sort of user forums that you can post on for advice? If not, what about any fan forums?
Generally speaking, if it is a product that you have bought that doesn't work, then statutory law states you are entitled to a refund. However, not sure how that applies in the field of computing where the onus is on the consumer to make sure their PC is up to spec.

Frapping uses a fair bit of processing power. It's not something you can do smoothly without a system able to effortlessly do what you're trying to do already.

FRAPS worked great for me, but if you have a weak videocard or little ram it's going to kill your system.
