Just so you know, that's 50 damocles rhinos-
200 orbital bombardments!
(150 of which are apc. ones- 1 bombardment asset per rhino, 3 bombardments per asset- choose an area of the board, which turn, and then a S8, AP1 5" blast shot strikes there, and 50 of which are the ones you get with a chapter master- S8, AP 1, ordnance blast, anywhere provided you have line of sight)

Pretty sure most people's wallets would defeat this being few could afford that many rhinos!

Easy enough to beat IMO.
Just play daemons.

Either way, you can take 1st turn and theres nothing to shoot, or take 2nd and get swarmed.

The daemons will be too close to hit with it as you will hit your own models (so not allowed)
You will slowly start losing tanks until you have nothing left.

I thought you could only use one bombardment in a game...

That's almost $1800. In Rhinos...

Yeah, alpha strikers and all in reserve lists are probally going to laugh at this list. Being its apoc, I think most super heavies have a good shot of outlasting you, and flyers are all but immune.

Anything else though, won't survive past turn two.

Yeah, that would be true, but they don't even have to be on the board- just put all of them in reserve, then keep them there until turn 3- unleash all the bombardments in turn two when the demons deep strike.

I think you have some kind of odd ideas about apocalypse.... it's a degenerate format if played competitively there's no doubt. my answer to this army would be to laugh and refuse to play. then what's my opponent going to do with their 2000 dollars worth of rhinos?

wouldn't the easiest way to beat this just be flyers? I mean Using a tau barracuda, you get 3 shots of S7, at 60"and 2 shots of S& at 36". Plus you need to add 12" to your range and hit on 6s (unless you have something thats pintle mounted) (meaning you gotta get close) and are immune to all blasts. True you can't take as many (about what? 20ish at most?) and they get a 4+ cover save according to the rule about skimmers moving more than 12" (unless you play it as an older style where it's all hits are glancing) just my idea though as the blasts would be totally useless and it seems you don't have much in the way of fire power for shooting the flyers down.

Not if he's getting the Asset as the result of a Datasheet, which I think he is doing. I've never seen the Datasheet before, but I'm pretty sure that's where this is coming from.

And yes, I have to agree that a list like this is pretty obnoxious, not to mention lacking in creativity. It doesn't take a lot of work to make a list that is presumably hard to beat or be competitive. With deep pockets, anyone can make one up.

Now making a "fluff" intensive list that is ALSO competitive.... That's a feat much harder to accomplish...

yeah, flyers will be the death of this list- i'm not actually thinking of making this list, nor was it designed to take out everything, I was just speculating.

who has room for 50 rhinos on a board, let alone in his figure case? who has time to make 50 rhinos, who has time to paint 50 rhinos, and as others have said, who's got da money?!

in apoc, the force organization chart doesn't exist. that's why you're not limited to just 3 heavy support choices. your limited to your wallet.

Just thinking out loud- not that I would make this list, but it would be pretty difficult to beat it...
