So, Green Arrow and Flash look to be getting new costumes.
What do you guys think? Personally I like Green Arrow's costume.
It's nice and it's simple.

After Convergence, it also looks like Superman will have a fresh buzz cut.
This pic is also very interesting for what it suggests has happened. The Superman book writers apparently met to discuss some kind of big change that will be in all the books, and so I'm thinking we're going to get a year dealing with a huge change in Clark's life.
@Alpharius -- I think those pics of him in his t-shirt/jeans outfit ties into this. If the secret's out anyway, maybe that's how you walk around every day, I dunno.
Meanwhile, Batman will be in a powered suit? I'm guessing it's not Bruce.
I suspect all will be "back to normal" right about the time BvS is released

If you look at the back of the suit, it has blue and red lights...not unlike a cop car. It's also holding a gun.
Is a cop in the suit? Jim Gordon, perhaps?

If that's the new Batman look, then feth DC! That's terrible, and is basically the opposite of batman. Certainly not sanctioned by Bruce, if that's an actual gun and not a grappling gun.

Comic book death, comic book death, making death seem cheap since… I do not know, when did they start killing off characters to resurrect them later?
Anyhow, comic-related, I am happy the angry online mob could not manage to force the Batgirl authors to release their book under a cover they did not want.

Have they actually killed off a turtle before? I know in the old movie, Raph was almost killed, and got his ass kicked any time he went off solo. But dead in the comics?

Well, "Ultra Comics" -- the penultimate chapter of Grant Morrison's Multiversity series -- was as trippy as promised. I'm not even sure where to start talking about it.
I think Morrison's brain operates at a different frequency than the rest of us.

Started re-reading Preacher from the beginning.
It's fascinating to see the style of the series evolve. The initial
linework looks hesitant, subdued. By the end of its run, the
art was bold and sharp.

Yeah, it's basically as he described it at the beginning of the series -- a "haunted" comic book with "technology" that transforms you into the hero of the story. Although I think you end up "possessed" at the end...?
I know it sounds ridiculous, but he comes at the whole thing from some interesting angles. In fact, the ridiculousness -- or perhaps more like our collective reaction to certain things in the book -- is also a key plot point. I think.
It kinda makes my head hurt.
Edit: It's also surprisingly creepy. At one point, I actually thought to myself "SHOULD I turn this page?"

Reading through the current TMNT comic leading up to the death that was posted. I'm loving it. I'm usually not a Donnie fan, but he's so fleshed out in this comic in ways the media portrayals never did justice to. Very impressed.
