Just need to attach chest auto cannons, possibly the chest shield, but might leave it off the mortis for a change from the crusader. And possibly the smoke stacks. I kind of like the models without them or the alternate cooling stacks.

@Shaso, The family shot is about $280.00 before discounts and the kickstarter pricing I had. even with the extra gun arms I bought I think I'm still under $400.00
@Nerdfest, I'm headed to the store shortly, on my list of things to get will be a santa hat for the leviathan to wear in the final pic that I intend to send to GW Corporate.

I have challenged Mark, the creater of the titans in the N&R page to get everyone to send family pics to GW for Christmas with their titans , escalation indeed GW, Bring it.

Edit:forgot o get a Santa hat , but as I'm trying to eat healthier I though I would buy some V8. It's two full servings of vegetables in each can, something I need to eat more of, so why not buy the big freaking case o them at SAMS club. On he way home I opened one to try....

Assault Trooper test print

Here are some shots of an Assault Trooper, warts and all. I did not spend much time cleaning up the print because it was not going to be used as a master, just to test fit components such as the shoulders, tasset and tabard.

The Heavy troopers are scaled to be a good match with the Stormtroopers. About 1mm taller than the Stormtroopers (some shrink can be seen in the print), and a bit more bulk overall. Keep in mind when comparing to other mini lines, the Stormtroopers will be on the tall side, so although these may look a little small, they are large enough to look like steal the milk money from many of the other popular mini companies lines and small enough to look like Eisenkern Stormtrooper sized person could actually fit into the suit.

WGF China informed me that they are making progress with the Heavy Troopers so it seemed appropriate to post this. Enjoy!

Well last night I woke up and needed to paint a little. So work commenced on my junk. I'm really not feeling this piece, I think I might have to start over, but I did get to check out some of the new paints.

Also painted the latex glove without primer or pva, I like how it is laying. I have another idea for a piece, has to do with some of the stuff I do at the new job, and I think I can make it look trashy/junky.

And that is what is amazing! 3 models, and additional parts and still less than the 465 for a FW Warhound!

Try to come up with a story as to why the junk pile is where it is and composed of what it is. You may "feel" it more that way...

Why does anything that is supposedly good for you taste so bad, and the really bad stuff taste soooooo good.

V-8 is not so bad, but they do for a health drink have a indecent supply of salt in the drink. so much so, I can;t drink it or else my blood pressure will spike explosively!

Anyway I got to work really early because of ice and sleet hitting here with snow tonight of a few inches. Even though it might not fit the bill I might head back to the Derrick. It would just add more to my table I think.

Accuweather says is a band of cold spreading across a large swathe of the States, but my area is at a low of 55 tonight, so that snow will be rain for my area.

That's where we were last night, then the temp dropped 25 degrees last night, supposed to get the heavier stuff tomorrow. Stay up on your hill, or when the ice hits you'll be stuck down below.

Theo are you talking about the new line of paints GW just put out? I really want to invest into them but I can't find anywhere that sells them at a discount.

@nafarious, miniaturemarket.com should be doing their regular 20% off. That's what I got them for in store the Wednesday before thanksgiving when they broke their Black Friday discounts. You'll have to call and ask them.

Drinking another V8, it's going down easier, or I'm building a tolerance. Either way I must remember to not breath through my nose right when I open the can. My sense if smell is not very good, but it definitely picks this up.

Still..even though we are hardy northerners, during the first snow/ice, Darwin always sorts a few out before everyone slows down and gets their heads on straight.

Texans *DO* know how to handle a little ice/snow. We declare the day a wash, stay inside, crack open the beer and fire up the BBQ.

My family used to live in Indiana so we are quite adept at driving in the snow/ice, You are right though the rest of TX is freaking out over half an inch of snow. But still it's best to avoid driving when there is half and inch of ice/sluch on the roads, Hopefully it is gone before Sunday because I will have to make the journey back to college.

@Dr. H, silly Brit, BBQ happens all year round, and in all weather like mailmen.
@briancj, yes Texans cuddle up to their cows on cold days, sometimes while they can still moo , other times after it's been cooked.
@Dave, this will be juju beans first winter won't it? Also the hospital was crazy busy last night, lots of accidents, bad falls, and flu going around.

@shaso, I'm sure you'll get your snow soon enough, until the your army will just have to continue playing in the mud.

Snow day for wife and kids, it was so nice all of us getting to sleep in, never happens around here. I just didn't enjoy the 4am phone calls from their districts telling us there was no school. Lazy morning of hot chocolate and reading. Just gave the kids the okay to start watching TV. I'm going to get ready for work then maybe get some modeling in before I leave.

I think I will be stopping at my Masters in computer science. And no I don't really like those big ol' git'er done mobiles.

Probably why the British aren't known for their BBQs. We wait for the 1 (maybe 2) day(s) of sun in the year before thinking about BBQs.

We also have issues when it snows. Considering that it happens nearly every year, you'd have thought that we might be ready for snow and ice... nope, panic and chaos every time...

Time to look at the junk pile rules again, I'm not enjoying what I built and its becoming more of a task than a fun event for me.

Theo: That's a tough one. It is meant to be fun. Try looking at the previous pieces of terrain you've made and make a junk pile to match them. Don't think of it as a competition piece, think of it as an addition to your sump or the janitor-skulls (maybe like a hazard piece for sumpball...).

You are quite wrong, some of the finest BBQs of my life have been in the rain and I hear tx is really suffering, family & friends in Roanoke and fort worth moan moan moaning glad you and yours are making the most of it.
