So are you planning to have a gyro-stabilised mono wheel installed?

Seriously good luck with the surjury and all.

I think you can combine several of the ideas of read here- remember: Cam's the guy that invented mixing iron powder into his resin casting so that the cast item is automatically magnet-able. Remember his Warhound? Same principle.

Sorry to hear you're down for a while Cam. Hopefully the Painboy gives you some special squigs to chew on that make everything feel fun and happy while you're on the mend. In the US they only give us spent lasgun batteries, and that's only after an interrogation from a couple Inquisitors that hate you simply because you exist.

so...watched it...first...you literally outdid yourself with this set...i think for such an effort you put in this is a masterpiece and is probably not able to be paid for...so the only conclusion is to give it for free...which you did...but boy... it would have felt to me like selling one of my own kids...and i don´t mind telling you that that guy made me flinch whenever he unwrapped a new piece...arghh... i still remember when i got some terrain stuff from klaus some time ago...i literally dissected the pieces...i felt as tense and controlled as a bomb disposing unit...

but anyway... this is now a terrain set that gets the honour to be played with...which is the only natural way of living for such artful stuff...which in the end makes everything worth it...! saying well done...just doesn´t cut the mustard...finally some well deserved fame mister!

congratz also to your packaging skills^^...the guy surly broke some sweat

Hey guys here is a direct link to the unboxing I filmed with the set Cam did for us. It completely blew us away. We cannot wait to use it for a battle report. We have 12 other full tables of terrain, ranging from professionally made to store bought kits to stuff we put a lot of time and effort into and this blows them all out of the water. Thank you so much once again Cam.

Yeah as you can clearly see it wouldn't take much to make me sweat haha, working on that. But yeah as mentioned it was extremely well packed, even after FedEx beat up the poor thing, only two bits let go in the whole set, which were easily fixable. As for my handling, I was excited and didn't want the video to take too long, wanted to make sure I could get all the awesome terrain in, but nothing broke in my hands so we can call it a win .

Not where I should be

Personal note:
I fractured my femur as shown in previous, op was same day/ night, next couple days were getting pain meds right. And starting PT. Wednesday weight bearing Thursday Zimmer frame walk, Friday toiletry independence. I am still on morphine tablets at mo so going home soon I hope. It is very very painful . Very very difficult to do anything, but if I don,t have some styrene riveted by the end of the week you can drag me out and bury me.

Thanks to twinner for wonderful comments, and we know your nuts Vik.

Thank you all for the wonderful support.

Now Vik, no worries. Twinner, he's Canadian. Those folks have a pretty wicked sense of humor. Proof? They sent Jim Carrey to the USA. And Michael J Fox. And Lorne Michaels. And Neil Young and ... Haha. Jokes on US. Grrr. it would be nice if they actually sent us some people with, oh, what is it called, ah yes, talent.

Cam: do ask about anti-inflammatories. They will help with that pain, since some of it is bound to be from swelling. We've already lectured you about the PT. I know that things seem dark now, but there will be a happy ending to all of this. Really, there will be.

Time guide for the video:

So at 3:30 I'm shouting at the monitor, "Open the fethin' box already!"

At 4:30 I'm thinking that Cam has an interesting sense of humor too. Soooo much tape. And Newspapers. Too bad Twinner can't read them, since they are written in Scottish and not in Canadian, eh.
(It's funny, if you know how some of the Canadian accents came "aboot.")

At 5:00 we get the first look. Nice. And just gets nicer.

The rest is more excellent terrain. I must say that the game mat goes well with the terrain too. The windmill, so cool to see again.

The set will provide years of enjoyment.

Not sure if this is a compliment or not haha. You are correct we do live in a Basement but we have to pay for that privilege. But we definitely did appreciate Cam and his generosity.

Ouch I'm sorry to hear about your accident Cam. Pinning the joint like that seems so crude. Everyone knows magnets are the answer.

Watching the video made me think of a magician pulling things that shouldn't fit out of a hat; about half way though I thought there couldn't be more, but there was.

Also nice name on the windmill made me laugh, trumpton, I'd somehow missed that reading through your posts as you made it.

Get well soon.

They are the Basement Collective...
My hobby space is in the basement too. I don't pay for it since I already own it. Well, I pay property taxes, so yeah, I guess I pay for the privilege too... Their basement is nicer than mine. That's okay. Mine is quite peaceful, until the furnace kicks on. Then it's a bit noisy. It's been on very often recently. This darned polar weather... coming from, of all places...

Do enjoy the terrain, Twinner.
