Thanks for the shout out! Your terrain is looking great, weathering powders are so much fun to work with. I can't wait to see more of your work and if you are looking for some terrain that fits that style check this out http://wondertrail.com/Hobby-Games/Minature-Terrain/Pegasus-Hobbies-Terrain/PEG4904-Platformer-Large-Miniature-Terrain-Set-by-Pegasus-Hobbies/prod_18107.html

Keep up the great work,
Mike

As for other updates....I've been slack and done very little modelling or painting over the last few of weeks. I've starting building some more terrain...walkways and some storage tanks. Now I need to know will PVA glue stick thin cardboard to metal and or plasticard? If not does anyone have any suggestions?

It depends on if the pieces will see a lot of abuse, meaning is the area exposed to people touching it or load bearing? If either are the case you should use super glue or liquid nails. In my experience PVA is good for holding something in place that is either light like flocking or holding down the basing material until it is painted. To answer your question yes PVA will hold to pretty much anything, but in my opinion not that well. My vote is to nix the PVA!

Can't wait to see more of your terrain.

Great Job as always Peter. "Best In Show" is only rivaled by "Spinal Tap"! Keep up the outstanding job and if you prime inside make sure you wear a dust mask. That dust is way bad for your lungs! Time for me to start getting back to the painting table , so thanks for the inspiration!

All things being equal Pete, I would rather see you live a long healthy life and get yelled at , then get a lung infection! Not to sound like a nagging wife hahahaha. Sorry

PDH wrote:Well I have finally finished something in 2011!!!! Unfortunately nothing particularly interesting and this really is a poor update.

I have completed six more of the rusty bulkheads as seen on page 4. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/90/309038.page

Which means I have 7 still unpainted (1 red/6 rusty) so nearly done....so far its only taken... what 16 years!

Migs - Thank you

Peter

He looks great! I love the revolver he is holding and the pose is very dynamic as in he looks really pissed. Can't wait to see what kinda of magic you can do on his paint job.

Worth the wait!

Just checking in Peter and the finecast conversions are going to be great! I just got Coteaz from my wife as a gift and the two headed eagle has to go. I look forward to seeing your progress and kudos on your work thus far

Nice job Pete! I love the scratch built tankers. Rivets... that is like the siren call for Dave. I am sure the king of rivets will let you slide on the random sized rivets

Great as always Pete! Maxmini does quality work. My altar pieces are from them. Plastic barrels look dynamite and your layered weathering is very convincing!

Top notch, keep up the awesome updates!
