Hey guys. So I'm entering a painting competition this month at the FLGS. And I wanted to have a forest-y base for my Khorne Lord in Terminator Armour, so I was planning on adding clump foliage like this:

to the base. My plan was to just use plain old PVA glue, but that doesn't seem to be doing the job. Anybody have any tips on how to get this stuff to stick? What kinda glue, like wood or plastic or something? Any tips would be great.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

PVA should work, you might just have to use a lot of it and hold or press it in place until it dries. You can also try something like "No more nails" to stick it to the base.

I would imagine that good old superglue would also work.

Superglue works the best for what your trying to do, just make sure your putting this stuff on after you varnish the model or it will come out funny. When it comes to fake grass or foliage on your base, super glue is your friend.

Woodland senics makes some awsome stuff, I have way to much of it lieing aroung. One thing that I would suggest though, and I have no clue how your planning on doing it now, but dont cover the entire base with this stuff, just use a few clumps of it here or there.

Good luck, dont glue to much clump foliage to your fingers, and post some pics when your done.

I also use superglue for woodland scenics. It causes the flocking to dry quickly with a HARD bond (at least, for the lower level of the flocking). I'd think PVA glue would take too long to dry to be all that practical.

Thanks for the help, guys. PVA glue and super glue worked wonders on the foliage. For those of you asking for pictures, I got some in my work thread.
