As the title says really.
I'm 12 and have noticed the majority of my fellow Dakkaites seem to be teenagers or older.
So, I got curious and wanted to know if anyone is younger or knows someone who is younger than me.

To the best of my knowledge there's a couple of 11 year olds on the site, one of whom's mother sent me a charming email once upon a time.

In general, whilst it's scientifically proven* that everyone on Dakka is cooler than distilled essence of Fonzie ( ...see how I use references that will resonate strongly with the younger generation) , people of tender years should be cautious about their age and the like on the internet.

Are good

OT: I'm pretty sure there are younger members. I seem to recall there is at least one member who is 10, and there are probably members who are 11 as well.

However, your spelling and grammar are good, which is great. Keep it up

..I helped her son out and gave him some advice, a day or so later she sent me an email thanking us for running a safe and responsible site. Which was nice of her.

No drama.

Then make up something more interesting.

OP: It's good to see someone your age using proper spelling and grammar for once. I'm sick of txt-typers.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

It's actually surprising to see decent grammar for someone in OP's age bracket.
*looks at OP's flag*
Maybe that's why

At first I thought it would have been about being named reds8n and filling the youngun's heads with "satanic teachings"
Good to hear it was for a good reason though.

I don't know why ...

Children's minds are soooo much more malleable - like play-doh, really. Besides, many small ones are spawns of satan anyway.

Teenagers are at the age where they do not yet know or realise that they don't know everything.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I started when i was 12 with a box of guardians. Too bad i didn't know about dakka back then. I'd likely have a lot more posts than i do now. But yeah, you're only 2 or 3 years younger than I am.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that the young fellow indiana1000 is 10, as mentioned in one of his threads.

And beware everyone, Boss 'eadbreaka and I are some of the few young Australians who know how to write proper words.

EDIT: Even though that is a bit exaggerated, you would be shocked.

That is refreshing.

I often despair at the lack of such skills in kids older than you.
(my own clubmates - who vary in age from 15-20 - cannot write legibly, let alone use the King's English adequately.)

You can't teach someone who doesn't want to learn. Then again, you can't teach something when what you are teaching is a bunch of politically derived rubbish of no use to man nor beast.
