Very interesting release. I don't play Skaven, but as far as releases go, it is unique.

Just read this in White dwarf. Nice idea bringing back some classic mini's to go along side the ones in the new boxed game, i'm asuming they may follow this trend with OOP models and re release some in a steady stream as online order models only.

Sling arms look pretty good as upgrades, shame they never put them on the clanrats sprue tho, if you want a unit of 20 you have to buy the clanrat kit then another £10 for the arms. Pain.

What price did they slap on the Rat Ogres? I bought them for $15 when they came out.

And for those that dislike them. They have detail on all sides.

I have only seen the IoB ones from the front, and past experience with plastics tells me they suck from side view because of the 2 part body assembly.

The Troll from BfSP looked good too, until you saw it from all angles.

The ironclaws one looks really neat.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Wait, were these (the ogres) not available in the Classic range? These came out for, what, the last army book? Or was it earlier than that?

I think they came out for the book that Alessio wrote that added the Warpfire cannon. Was that the previous version?
These were my Favorite Rat Ogres. Add in the Mordheim and BloodBowl Ogre and you had 5 uniques.

The plastic Rat Ogres with the action figure shoulder joints came out with the Lustria book. Hated those. You could really tell they tried to CAD create the mechanical parts.

I approve of the slings, but never liked those Rat Ogres. Time to do some mathhammer on pebble lobbing slaves...

If everyone is going to whine about the prices of these not going down, has anyone considered quitting the hobby itself? It must be terrible that some of you can't press a button and POOF this stuff comes to you for free...

Basic economics, stuff costs money. Unless it is a dire necessity, it will most likely increase in price one day.

Geez...

Complaining about prices is part of the hobby too.

I like the Maulerblades sculpt but the others never caught my interest.

Just a bit of knowledge, I have looked closely at the rat ogres from IoB (actually in hand) and the sculpts are great all around. I will agree the models here are better then the plastic action figure rat ogres.

Erm....this isn't a 'wave' release. This is just a random one. Wave releases include Stock items, not just Online Order stuff.

If by OOP trend you mean rereleasing old sculpts for twice what they used to cost then it appears so!
