Alright so my idea is to have some Catachan Jungle Fighters turned Khorne Cultist. The idea was to use lots of blood, spikey bits and whatever else have you and then I thought about how neat it would be if every single Catachan had a skull mask on. So I was thinking maybe to use a Tomb King's head and carve out the back side then attache it onto the Catachan's face (Aware of the amount of painful work it'll be) Question i have is does anyone have any suggestions or better ideas for how I can make this work or any input on the project idea at all? I'm going to be buying me some parts and trying it out soon, wanted your guy's opinion on the project first tho.

Can anyone say...Ghost rider? :-) for an imperial guard army that would be a huge pain in the backside and very tedious! it's a good idea though and if you think you've got the patience then do it, but i'd probably leavr the skull masks for higher ranking members and just get some of the cool heads of maxmini or another similar site, then they's look suitably Khornate.

Lost somewhere in the Face of Terror.

Get Helmetless Khorne Berzerker Heads from Bitz Sites... there should be plenty in stock, most people I know hate those things.

I think the Chaos Marine Berzerker Heads helmetless are still to big for the Catachan bodies, I have a few laying around i'll check it out and I'll also check out Maxmini. Thanks for the input guys.

The Maximini heads weren't really to my likeling any other suggestions on websites that carry unique and interesting heads that could work for Cultist Catachans?

Some backwater sump

You could paint tattoos/face paint on them instead.

Could allways use a skull helmet on the important models (unit command and higher)
Then go with painted faces on the others.

Something like that for basic troopers.

Hmm painting faces is a great idea, thanks for the input!

Make a greenstuff press mould for the skulls, then put some putty on the catachan face and press it. If you decide against making this army, I'm stealing it!

Feel free to partake in the idea, i'm not claiming rights to it, after all as you see Forgeworld already did it! Anyways I have to admit the idea of molding a skull with greenstuff press is a little intimidating as i've never done one before.
