Long-Range Ultramarine Land Speeder Pilot

St. Catharines, Ontario:

1st - Dwarves (Me) (anvil, 1 cannon , 2 bolts, hordes of dwarves)
2nd- Night Goblins (block of 60 night goblins with poison arrows, trolls, 4 warmachines, more hordes of goblins)
3ed- Skaven (mish-mash of everything and screaming bell)

What were the results in other areas?

*EDIT* - It wasn't the screaming bell it was the wrecking ball contraption for the Skaven. My bad.

31st Century Games- Overland Park, KS

1st: Tomb Kings- Kalida, 4 tomb scorpions, 3 catapults, 2x4 Chariots, 4x10 Bowmen, 3 liche priests, hierophant
2nd: Dwarves- Anvil, 2 grudge throwers, 2 bolt throwers, organ gun, 2 cannons, gyro, lots of long beards
3rd: Dark Elves- 2 hydra, Malekith, Supreme Sorceress on Dark Pegasus, Hero on Manticor, lots of spearmen and corsairs

Tomb Kings guy had very favorable scenarios and matchups......and hit about 70% of his stone throwers with direct hits....I played him last game and he hit 10 of 13 in 3 turns, killing 7 of my 9 warmachines and my general. If I wouldn't have failed my look out sir on my Arch Lector, I would have won the game by about 100 points......instead he got the minor.

I tied the Dwarf player in game one in an awesome whiff fest.

The Dark Elf player was a friend of mine, who was about to be tabled by Tomb Kings on turn 3 in the final scenario....His supreme sorceress got a purple sun off on the bottom of 3 and took out over 1000 points of the Tomb Kings army, and then it began to crumble.

3rd: High Elves (Teclis)

3rd- WE (me): Treeman Ancient, 5 x dryad units, 3 x 6 treekin, 2 Treemen, 2 Eagles

Before I get too much credit for qualifying with wood elves, there were only 4 people at our tournament (so we each played each other once). The 4th place person, however, won an 'Ard Boyz seminfinal with his Empire-Gunlist-From-Hell last year! I don't see the Empire gunline doing well at the semis, but it will depend on the scenarios (scenario 3 was really bad for him with the close deployment in this one).

1.) Orcs & Goblins with a bit of everything (me)
2.) Wood Elves with lots of trees (very impressive Treeman results).
3.) High Elves with big infantry blocks

It should be said that we were the only 3 who showed, however. These results sadly don't mean much.

It was the hero level 2 caster on the peg, not lord level. The only "supreme" thing about her was when she blew up half my army including my casket, 1 cata, 4 of 6 ushabti, and almost took my hierophant.

Only 4 players, the last was Skaven. He suffered 3 minor losses. The empire armies had only minor victories and draws. I agree that gunlines won't fair well at semi-finals. Were there many massacres or even major victories in your games?

In ours, the daemon player recorded 3 massacres (one against each of us ). The rest of us had 1 win and 2 losses each, with the WoC having a massacre win, and the other two of us each only having a minor win. So there were quite a few massacres at ours... but only for one player!

Great to see you made it through, Killjoy . Are you coming down to mikhaila's store for the semis?

1st: (Me) WoC, Lvl 4 Sorc Lord with Lore of Heavens (Comet ftw), lots of Warriors, some cav
2nd: Dark Elves, lots of Infantry, shades, harpys, and dual Hydras
3rd: O&G lots of different Infantry blocks supported by a good amount of shooting and trolls

Good turnout (12) and I'm looking forward to Semi-Finals (wherever it's going to be for SW MO.

Faced VC Round 1, WoC with Archaon, dual warshrines Chosen block Round 2, and faced dual-Hellcannon, MoT-heavy WoC. 3 Massacres, 69 BPs, 7300ish VPs. Good day. My favorite part of the day was when my opponent put Archaon and his Knights in one corner then I deployed everything else 6ft away from him. He then fell for the old Marauder Horsemen carrot on the stick trick.
