I'm starting this to see if there is anyone in SF that is up for a small scale gaming campaign. Gorkamorka/Necromunda/=][= or some combination (would be my preference).

I'd be up for a short BART ride, too. If anyone in Oakland or Berkley or some other close destination is up for joining a fledgling club thing let me know.

I've got enough orks to play a small game at this point, and plenty of WIP terrain, but no table!

Hi,

I too have some terrain, many models and no table. Perhaps the guys at Gamescape will let us use theirs? I live in S.F. but don't get home from work until 6:30 PM most nights... want to try and meet up at Gamescape?

Alternatively, we can try and use my kitchen table... but it isn't quite regulation size.

Gamescape works for me. I'm at work/school still when you get home though. Maybe the weekend? I start work at 3 on Sat, and am off Sun.

What do you think? and what army do you run?

Weekends are mostly full for me... I could do a later evening on Monday, wednesday or Thursday though. When do you get off work / school?

Well I think we will have to make a weekend work then. PM me and we can exchange real contact info to try and set something up.

Check out my blog... almost any of them, to see what kind of campaigns I've been cooking up and let me know if you are interested in any of them. I think the Tyrant Star would work best. It could build to a super mega huge Apocalypse game, too (of ridiculous proportion). The background blog is probably the best place to start for the campaign, the there is a bit of it in the list blog.

Anyhow, I've sent a pm with my email. Hit me back with the word.

How about a Necromunda came to get started. Using the 40K armies to draw gangs from, starting with 750 points (somewhat arbitrarily, I figure the points for HQ are less than a Gang leader so...)

How does that sound?

Oh, aye! how's this? ChiTown, you interested in a game? I haven't got any finished models but I've got a collection of grey plastic orks :] My nearest potential gaming location is Gamescape in SF. I also have a good collection of foam core terrain.

Anyone else interested in some small games in San Francisco? Keep posting. I'm coming back to this forum... slowly. But, as a huge chunk of my life has opened up under my feet, I will have more time to have fun with this hobby again...
