Hi guys after a summerbreak I got back to finish up the greens I had on the table so here you go.

CHAPTERHOUSE studios(drop Pod )
««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««

Its finally finished, this multipar kit was literally a big challenge. Its 16.5cm tall

I made this little extra arm on the pod so you can magnetize the weapon you want on its extremety,
also if you noticed you only use the arm bit if you want to, if you prefer to have the pod witout it
you still have a fully sculpted surface on the pod.

The pod kit is 5 bits
1 cratter, 1 weapon arm, 1 vent ceiling, 1 pod left side and 1 pod right side

Cratter details you can use cratter for trygons hole

Even if pod is hollow you still have details inside

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OTHERWORLD miniatures (small spider set) «««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««

I sculpted some little spiders for Otherworld miniatures... and more bugs still to come.

These are on regular 25mm bases and good to populate your RPG's

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SECRET WEAPON miniatures (Big base 120X90mm ) «««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««

And to finish the complete range of bases for Secret weapon I finalized the last big oval one.

Thats all for now.

Solid, I dare say something like that may really put chapterhouse on the mainstream.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Awesome stuff as usual

is the big oval base trygon sized? mine is based on a carnifex but I've been wanting to redo the base since I made it square instead of round

Any chance of just the very nice crater base?

Doesn't make me think drop pod really, but it's still pretty cool and would make great terrain IMHO.

Gah, is it bad that I'm seeing the drop pod looks like a giant mass of vulvas?

Them wee spiders are awesome though, good poses to them, none of that flat, ground hugging crap other companies have.

Very nice and, uh, disturbing... Thank goodness that's not sold as a Noise Marines Drop Pod!

Still, that's leaped to the top of my personal favorites list for Nid Spore Pods.

Very nice work. Very professionally done. Like your thoroughness in sculpting the entire figure... not just the obvious parts.

Stunning work. It bristles with weird menace I can almost hear it oozing, wetly glistening...
Looks entirely organic, natural....
And yet at the same time utterly alien.

Nice.

I surfed past http://www.secretweaponminiatures.com and spent $120 on Alien bases.
Might return later and pick up the big base later.

Then I stopped by http://www.otherworld.me.uk and bought stuff for $50 (Harpies for my Dark Eldar etc.).
Might return for the spiders (for my Dark Eldar?).

Also, I might buy the Gigerish pod at http://chapterhousestudios.com once it gets released.

Supporting upcoming miniature companies is fun

The drop pod kind of reminds me of the squid-thing from the end of the graphic novel of Watchmen.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Oh, good, I'm not the only one who noticed.

That aside, the pod looks absolutely amazing. How big is it compared to a SM drop pod?

This baby is about 1-1.5cm higher then the SM pod.

Why why why why why must you be so meticulous that you actually add detail and texture to the INSIDE of the pod? I questioned your sanity when you said you sculpted each and every rock on the crater. Now you show this. It makes everything even more impressive.

Now to ask the obvious: How much does the vulvapod cost?

As an aside, have you considered releasing a "Terrain Kit" containing those bulbs and growths all over the Dark Art Miniatures bases? Of course this is up to Dark Arts, but maybe you have influence?

I'm somewhat at a loss for words here, but I think I'm going to go with "heinously disturbing". There's "alien" and then there's ... wrong.
