My cat gets into all my wargaming things, so I was wondering what pets do to affect your game?
My cat once flipped over my table (2 pieces of 2X6 polystyrene). I lost over half of my SM and had to re-make the table.

I thought my minatures were safe from my fiance's cat. Untill I learnt jumping up to an open window six feet above the ground was no obstacle for a cat. :(

My cats don't bother me whilst I'm painting, but the younger one (age 9, older one is 16 so he can't be fethed with toy soldiers) luuuuuurves messing with games-in-progress. When I used to live with my dad and I had to play floorhammer due to not having a suitable table, Catzilla would frequently come and tread on some marines, or swat a daemon prince over. It happened so frequently that Catzilla attacks became part of my house rules. Any model knocked down is destroyed, and anything the cat moves is now in that location. Led to some really funny games!

I play floorhammer! My fat cat fell asleep on the first model I glued together, and the first one I re-glued.

My parrot just gets angry that I'm playing and screeches every once and a while. I've heard enough horror stories of parrots running rampant to be wary of letting him spend that much time in the game room.

Mine does that with jigsaw puzzle pieces. He gets jealous of the amount of attention paid to the puzzle instead of being lavished on him. He knows better than to do it with minis though, he tried it once and got the water pistol as a result.

Only because he belongs to you.
One of the cats managed to pick up a Russ in it's mouth and proceeded to carry it around, rather proudly, for the next hour.

My last cat loved to eat my models. She went away after leaving many permanent scares on my arm, and pissing all over me.
My newest cat is mostly ambivalent towards them. If she knocks one over while walking by, she'll bat at it like a toy, but all in all isn't to bad with them.
My dog has never gotten into my models, so no worries from her.

One of my cats likes to drink the water for my paint brushes. Since I paint with a lot of metalics, I now cover it up. One time, I left the room while touching up some Black Templars. As I'm walking back towards the room, I see little black spots on the carpet every foot or so. He had jumped up on the painting table to drink from the water glass and placed his front paw in my painting pallet, getting black paint on his front paw.
Honestly, I clean his water bowl twice a day. Stay out of my nasty paint water, stupid.
Neither cat will jump on the gaming table while we are playing. But my other cat REALLY likes the red whippy sticks that came in Assault on Black Reach. If you leave any part of it hanging over the table edge, he will jump up and grab it. This has launched a space marine in the air.
He's also the one makes a B-Line for my photo booth EVERY TIME i set it up. he must be a painting critic:

My dog kicked a bottle of the green wash onto my pants... I think he wanted to go on a walk.
I have since trained him to lay along my side when I sit on the couch to paint since occasionally he 'loses control of his limbs' and spazz's.
And yeah I sympathize with the water drinker problem. My dog always has filtered clean water to drink but wants to drink my dirty painting water??? I had to get a lid to place over it if I get up even for a second.

Worst I've had in an inquisitive nose appearing at the edge of the table, sniffing, then disappearing.

The thing is this cat was abnormal, it's poo's were human sized and stank like a tramps undercrackers.

My cats have never interfered with the (very very little) painting and assembling I've done, but then again they are usually outside.
But every time I wanna do something semi-serious on my xbox, I have a kitteh in my lap trying to press the buttons for me...
On another note, how many people have considered armoring up a kitten as a squiggoth and letting it loose on a game board?

Hi there, I'm an hole! =D
"Links disintegrate--
Bolt clanks back and forth behind the thudding roar--
Brass rains on the sidewalk--
The 'sixty rattles out its song.
A song I first heard years ago--
Of fireteams dug in on the breaks between the paddyfields, of tracer lasering the jungle night, of Hueys screaming through the void--
Of Lieutenant Castle getting short and hating it, wanting 'Nam to last forever--
A lullaby come all the way to New York City--
Come to sing you to sleep."
