So..... anybody else excited about the Release of Killzone 3?

It's due for the 22th of February. I read some things about it on some other forums, and it can be possible for Luger to come back to killzone 3 (Luger played a major part in KZ1)

haven't read about much more other rumors about the game.....

I played it at PAX. It looked and played exactly like KZ2. If they had told me I was actually playing KZ2, I wouldn't have been surprised.

That could be a good thing for you though.

yeah I heard rumors they were going to make the multiplayer like Call of duty. I am glad that isn't the case. it's just that I am axcited about the new story, the new hand to hand fighting system and the other new systems they put in.

Wow, necro-ed by a mod. But to answer your question, I'll certainly be getting it. Theres a lot more choice in loadouts when playing Skirmish/multiplayer.

More than likely. I don't think there is much else coming out till about April. I enjoyed the second one, but I never got to play the first one.

I wish the second one would have had a online co-op campaign on it, so I am hoping they have it on the Killzone 3.

If I get it, it will only be for cinematic single-player.

got it reserved, looking forward to it but more for the story/campaign than the multiplayer. Those online kids play 24/7 and I'm old & slow so I just can't compete

I'll be pickin' up the Helghast Edition... I have no reason to, I probably can't really afford it, but I <3 Killzone.

There'll be an ISA Edition as well? I would pick that one up for sure, if they made any.

Nope. Just a Helghast Edition, because you know, the Helghast helmet is kinda iconic for the series, whereas the ISA... not so much.

Don't think you can coop in multiplayer. I haven't read anything about it yet. But hey, thats the least of my worries about KZ3.

That's dumb. To the maximum. Why bother with coop if you can't play it online?

I dunno. I think its something they tried to 'bolt-on' last minute when they realized it was something people wanted but they didn't fully think it through.

Something like they did with black ops would be cool. The online coop, I mean.

I definitely be conning the wife into letting me get this one.. i STILL have and often play KZ2.. if only my ps3 was compatible to allow me to play KZ1 as well :(

Have you tried putting in KZ1? I dunno, it could wreck it for you, but PS3 has an PS2 data storage option.

He probably has a newer PS3. The slim one isn't backwards compatible with PS2 games, (only PS1 and those games downloaded from the PSN). People wanted a price drop, so I guess they had to cut something.
