I would prefer to be neither. I would just be a rogue force user, not constrained by the rules of the jedi, but not an evil bent on destruction sith lord.
I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.
Sith need not be evil, it is just that most of them are.
Ignore the rule of two, leave the Sith pair alone to follow their plan and disappear off with a large spaceship (i.e. steal an Imperial Star Destroyer), with a handful of select flunkies, enough droids to crew the ship and a pretty girl or ten.
Go far far away and experiment with Darth Plaguies longevity technoques, having fun and modding the ship extensively. I want a palace, a reconditioned Fed droid army, and a command console so I can practice force assisted gunnery with the ships main turbolaser batteries.
I dont want much.
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.
Jedi, because being Sith doesn't give you sufficient powers to stop Ewan McGregor jumping over your head and slicing you in half. Instead you stand there gaping like an idiot (Phantom Menace).
Being Sith certainly doesn't given you the powers to pull off the same trick when Ewan McGregor has "the higher ground" (Revenge of the Sith).
To be honest, being Sith just turns to you into a whiny little brat and makes you lose all ability to portray emotion convincingly (Revenge of the Sith)... although you may not have had that ability in the first place (Attack of the Clones)

Ah,but being a Sith gives you the deep and sexy voice of James Earl Jones ( Episodes 4-6)

I personally consider myself a Sith, since I have many views and philosiphys (grammer's wrong, I know) that contradict the Jedi. Plus, I get bionics with no questions asked. Or cool gear like Revan.
