GNP of Ireland is 140 billion Euro and falling.
Government debt of Ireland is 103 billion Euro and rising.

By end of 2011 the total debt held by the Irish consumer on Mortgages and the Total debt of the Irish Government, ADDED TOGETHER will be at least 225% of GNP and Possibly 250% of GNP.

Somewhere in south-central England.

Don't worry, the Queen is going to visit next year. That will cheer everyone up.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Maybe the Irish should have a Monarch. Then they could claim a spot of land is a "historical monarchial landmark" and claim millions of dollars in revenue for that spot, just like the Queen does.

Yeh. At least then (with morgages added to the debt of the british government) they would only be in debt by 50% of their GNP. What a saviour.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Ireland has a fairly slender economic base, making it easy to feth up without doing too much wrong.

The Uk has a strong economic base yet we just had a government that had a modus operandi of 'Spend it all now, and borrow to spend some more, just so long as we look good her and now its someone elses problem.'

The Uk had a solid treasury and no remaining debts under Major, how we will be paying for decades for the economic lies that made Blair appear to be competent capitalist and socialist all at the same time.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Yes, built on a wide range of miniatures ranging from Orks to Space Marines to little ravenous critters, rat-men, undead warriors, and terminators ruled by hungry star gods. Very wide and diversified economic base.

Oh lord, imagine the dark day when GW shutters its doors.
