Because people keep asking through PM's and in threads, I am posting my list from this event (mod's if you would like to move this to the army list section feel free, I just thought it was better served here because of the recent tourny). By popular demand and without further addo (It's nothing special & kind of simple, just my take on shooty orks that I've been running since January)

third, but I screwed myself out of best overall by not dropping 19 boyz out of the BW when it got wrecked in the 5th. I counted the KP for my opp. because I didnt see them on the field (plus he used his reroll to continue the game and he could have played it different with 1 more troop on the field), he won by one KP. My bad and theres always next time.

Thanks again for the game, Grimgob - best game of the weekend, even if (because?) we beat up on each other pretty soundly.

And we still tied. It was a great game!

So is this the list you ran that did particularly well?

Just some Quick Qs:
*Is there a reason the Nob's ride was a HS wagon instead of dedicated transport?

*Is there some method to the battlewagons being differently equipped? besides the uses, seems like it would be trouble for keeping things straight in a game.

*Who are your HQs riding with and does your Ghaz go off solo or does he ride in the stikkbomb wagon so as not to make his whole unit strike last?

*What is with the redundant wargear with the nobz? Do you find it neccessary and worth the points? Like that is a lot of seemingly redundant and questionable gear, almost a whole 'nother Nob or small unit like a solo kannon battery for the price of those kombis/poles and runts.

*Do you run afoul any particular special mission requirements or custom scoring that cause particular problems for you? Like KP vs VP or missions that do something else special?

Seems like a valid battlewagon bash list.

Nkelsch: While im not 100% (since it wasnt me playing) i would guess the nobs have different gear for the same reason everyone takes them like that.
You can then play wound allocation with each nob, meaning 8 nobz could take a wound before 1 gets removed.

*dedicated transports didnt work for bonus points in a few missions/the more Hvy slots alive for 1 mission/ending with Hvy in opp. deployment/ + I had the spot left

* stickbombs and riggers for the nob wagon, riggers for the boyz wagon, the base wargear I bring on KFF wagon.

*Ghaz with nobs (he can always choose to go by himself),
KFF with boyz: so he can go tank hunting w/plank and klaw/deffrolla after boyz get dropped.

*mostly for wound allocation, 10 extra points in bosspoles always help me to reroll ld, two rokkitz with runt allows me to almost rliably pop a transport before assaults,big choppas for eairlier int, everything else is pretty basic.

*No but the Nobs do eat alot of points, 14KP isnt that bad.

Thanks but I do run it shooty and use my OK assaults to mop up, and my nobs as distraction/hot knife through butter units.

By the way my favorite rules argument all weekend by far was: my walkers get out of the way of your deffrolla because in the rule book it says vehicles have a counts as leadership of 10 so we dont take the rolla damage if we make our roll and side step it.

lol, someone really made that argument? =) That must have been the first time they've ever heard of a deff rolla or not read forums... it's been hashed out so many times I almost cringe.

I like the simplicity of your list. Simple bit of distraction koptas, the usual lootas, and some straight battlewagon bash. I'm heartened to see it did so well in your hands.

Nice solid list, I am not surprised it did well at all. I wish I could have gone to potentially play against it, I would have liked the chance. Next time maybe.
