Just a quick general poll out there...how long have you generally had to wait for GW to get you what you order from them? Currently I've been waiting two (almost 3) weeks for a Hellhound model to ship since the time I ordered it, and I'm feeling like it's really been a long time, and it should be here by now. Of course, it could just be I'm stressing that I want things to get here before I leave for college, but still...
So how about everyone else? Are shipping times usually this long or am I just ridiculously impatient?

Depends where you are. I organised a trade on MiniWarGaming two months ago with a guy and it still hasn't arrived. It's usually due to the postal service rather than GW. They sent my stuff in about 3 weeks too, that's just how long it takes.

Son can you play me a memory? I'm not really sure how it goes... |

OP - Have you asked GW for an update on your order? probably best to get in touch with them.
Anyway, when I have used GW (in the uk) I have gotten my order within a few days.

Generally I receive my items within a week to a week and a half of placing the order (shipping to GA, USA).

As mentioned, give GW a ring. Unless something is back ordered, three weeks is too long. My last four FW orders got to me in 4-5 days, sometimes faster.

Just ordered some Deffrolla upgrade sprues for some BWs.
I'm giving them about week-week and one half before I call them.

I ordered 2 boxes of minis a month or so ago, was really surprised when they were at my house 2 days later.
this was with standard shipping.

They're generally frighteningly quick with shipping. I'm talking 2-3 days, tops. I'm next to one of the largest distribution centers in the midwest, so the justification that I've always heard is that they have a warehouse nearby that they service the midwest out of, but I got GK Psycannon arms in two days. You can't tell me they actually keep those actively stocked in warehouses like they would Tac Squads. I think they send packages through the warp, and that's how they get to us so fast.

Ahhh, alright then. It's an IG Hellhound order, so that should be something they keep stocked. I'll be giving the main GW Customer Service line a ring today. Thanks dakka!
But...through the warp? Is that why my copy of the Uplifting Primer wept blood when I read it?

That could be. Perhaps it is tainted. I recommend showing it to your Commissar to let him make the final call*.
* Please note that possession of a tainted Primer is punishible by lashing, followed by being inducted into the penal legions, followed by arco-flagellation, followed by death by bolt pistol.

Note that there are some things that when you look on the website says expected ship time or something like that.
its normally within 24 hours, every now and then you get one that says 2-3 weeks.

Stuff from the UK usually takes forever - 2-4 weeks.
Stuff from GWUS? I've had it arrive in less than 36 hours, and I live in Australia.

Well all the stuff I was waiting for came in today. It's great when you get 3 phone calls in a row saying your: battle foam, Chimera and Hellhound have all arrived in one day. Ah, it makes me happy. Perhaps GW is observing this thread, and it made them hurry up the trip through the Warp.
But still, thanks guys!

I placed an order on Tuesday Augest 31st, and it came in 7 days later, and there was also a holiday on the Monday. Of course I had selected in-store pick-up to save on shipping, so perhaps that would be a little quicker.

I ordered some stuff and paid the fast shipping, it arrived the next day. If your really desperate you should consider fast shipping, though its an extra £10.

Generally it depends where you are and what you order.
Some models may say "shipped within 24 hrs" but due to being popular may take a tad longer.
Ive also found that the more expensive the order, the faster it arrives. (actually had one with 1st class next day lol)
Keep in mind of time aswell.
Allways order on a monday if possible and before 1pm.
This way you can ensure its a fresh week and the order will go through the same day.
I generally have to wait 2-3 days for a small order (under £30)
Anything over that is usually next day or the day after.

I've gotten things in 3 days, but it took them almost a month to get me a box of Bloodletters.
The power of the warp and all I guess.
